GREAT food and coffee, friendly service, good menu options and fresh, tasty food. fantastic addition to the area, great option for lunch to fill you up and not make you feel guilty or sick afterwards. the food here is of great quality and made fresh, piping hot and delicious. prices as to be expected, you get what you pay for and that is certainly true here.
nice coffee too, maybe just a little milky but i do like it strong. nice little amaretto biscuit on top of takeaway coffees too, which is a cute touch

great pizza place hidden away in the back of Coburg. Convenient for us, welcoming service and atmosphere. Prices, as mentioned, are a bit higher than others but you get what you pay for, quality ingredients and care taken to make a great pizza. Nice after dinner options too like coffee and chai and hot chocolate and desserts. I don't think we will eat here often due to the cost but as a treat it is great.

great little cafe/bakery inside the shopping centre, good place to while away some time with a coffee and cake. Very comfy seats and the food is always well presented and fresh. Great array of items, including the famous beesting cake. Great value and service.

Nice cafe which is surprisingly roomy and modern, tucked away in Fulham Lane, just off Flinders Lane. Nice coffee but just not strong enough for me. I'll have to ask for strong next time :) Tasty and slightly chocolatty cappucino, which was nice. Good prices, as to be expected really for a CBD cafe. Friendly staff and lots of specials on which change from time to time. Convenient location too.

Convenient place for a quick coffee right near the train station, just back a little near RMIT student residences. Nice coffee, but a little milky for me. Friendly service and spacious interior. Just tried a few coffees here, will have to try the food next time. Fair trade and it is nice to see this kind of conscientiousness in the area. Standard prices and quality.

Great cafe and deli in one, huge range to choose from and they had exactly what we wanted - a little snack-sized breakfast item to take away. Friendly service and lots of room to sit down or wait for your takeaway. Fast service, no apparent EFTPOS minimum, tasty and healthy options. Lots of homemade goodies and things to buy for later. Prices are as expected, as my boyfriend said, you get what you pay for. Yummy food and great options - I had a lemon and ricotta homemade muffin, my boyfriend had egg, bacon and cheese tortillas.

Conveniently located little bakery-come-cafe with baked goods and treats as well as coffee and meals. They cater for dietary requirements, in particular gluten free, and have a huge menu. Good options and specials, picked up a coffee and small muffin for $5. The muffin was soft and fluffy, if on the small side. Same with the coffee, a bit small but it was a $5 special so I can't complain. Friendly staff and nice interior. I'd come here for a larger meal but it seems like more somewhere I would just grab a coffee from to be honest. Loyalty cards available which is always nice. Just across from Swinburne, s very handy.

Surprising is the word for this place - you would expect it to be full of hipsters, inattentive staff and over-the-top prices and food, but the menu is surprisingly varied and at reasonable prices, good options and very friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee and nice atmosphere. The only thing I would say could be improved is the lack of separation between the cafe and the roasting and office space out the back for the roasting. I guess some people would like this kind of authentic vibe but I would have preferred if it was separated, at least by a room screen or similar.
Nice and warm in winter. I think we'll come here again for a more substantial feed as we only had snacks and coffee but they were really great so I would expect the larger meals to be the same.

we had a pizza delivered from here on a Friday night as we were too tired to cook. Disappointing as there was hardly any cheese so most of the toppings were falling off, there was a bit too much capsicum on the pizza and not enough other vegies. The base was a bit soggy too. We were not too happy with this pizza especially as we paid about 18.00 for a family pizza - which looked more like a regular size pizza. We won't order from here again as it did not meet our expectations.

This review is for EC Kitchen Chinese Cafe Restaurant, Caulfield VIC

Convenient little cafe and restaurant right behind the Caulfield train station. Good location for a quick bite or takeaway coffee. They do delivery and takeaway restaurant food too, which looked and smelt nice. Had a takeaway coffee here, which was ok but not the best. A bit too milky and the coffee flavour was not up to my usual standard. 3.00 for a small was expected but for the quality it was not that good. Good range of food on offer and good meal deals. Surcharge for EFTPOS and CC so bring cash! Not sure I wil be back though, there are better cafes nearby.
