Car dropped off the night before for a scheduled service under VW's "4 Plus Care Plan." I wasn't rung until 1.30pm to inform me of the inevitable issue - an attempt to extract $950 out of me to do the front brakes. I declined - done for $600 elsewhere.
I had an intermittent brake light failure so had asked them to look at that, stating clearly it was intermittent and not the globe which I had already replaced. Outcome: Half hours' labour charge to tell me it was the globe which was replaced. Guess what - the problem continued to occur. I took it to an auto electrician who diagnosed and FIXED an earth connector fault.
They couldn't even grease a squeaky driver's door which I had deliberately left for them to pick up. How many times would they have heard that??
Summary: useless. These care plans are just a way of getting you back to the dealer to extract further money out of you for overpriced parts and substandard service.

The owners of this place are laughing all the way to the bank. If they charged about $20 it would be fairly priced. I guess the owners are trying make as much money out of it before nothing is left. You don't see the scaffolding in the pictures trying to hold it all up as long as possible. Just in case you think you've been ripped off, they give you a small piece of holey concrete as you leave that came from a part that collapsed in Cyclone Larry. Whoopee! Go and see some real rainforest for free. People who think this place is marvellous haven't seen much of the real stuff.

This certainly is a shopping centre that caters to a wide range of people. Most of the common names in retail are here, big and small, as well as many higher-end retailers. The doublling of the mall area a few years ago has made it a very very popular shopping centre and here comes the major flaw - they did not build enough car parking. Even on a weekday, it's tight and forget about finding a park on a weekend afternoon unless you are lucky or prepared to drive around in circles for a very long time. They must have quite a few 20 minute "parks" registered at the gates when in fact they are vehicles whose drivers have given up and gone home!

I bought my Golf Wagon here in 2011 after an intital poor experience at Barloworld Glen Waverley. They were honest and I got a very good deal, although I realised later that it was the end of the month and I'm told this is a factor in the keen-ness level of a salesperson. I have been back for its first service, which was VW-pricey and I was very surprised that for all that money they don't wash the car. They did however, respond very positively to an observation re how it was running and subsequently undertook a major warranty repair/replacement. The service manager is very smooth and I can't help wondering how much unecessary cost is built in to pay for the frippery - but they still don't wash your car!

This is overall a great place for a good value pizza or pasta with a bit more class than La Porchetta's. Nice atmosphere for a large restaurant. Friendly proprietor. My only criticism is that some of the young waiters can be a little too keen to remove your not-quite-finished meal!

This was my first port of call when looking for a new Golf Wagon in 2011. On my first visit, the young salesperson I was referred to seemed annoyed that I was calling in at about 4 pm and asked me to come back another day for a test drive. I did so, and to be fair here, was allowed to take it for a drive without him, but when I then wanted to test another model that was definitely too much trouble. I also emailed him re the origin of the car and his reply said South Africa when in fact it is Mexico. This tells me he was either lying or did not have some pretty basic product knowledge. I went to another dealer - Burwin. They told me the truth.
