I own a small business in Brendale and the first time I used Mel it was because something blew in the fuse box that even caused the fuse on the power pole to blow. The whole shop was possible live and it was a huge job to fix but Mel managed to have us back in business in no time. He really went out of his way to have it all fixed quickly. I have since used him for several other jobs at the shop and also at home. What most impresses me is the fact that he is polite, reliable, honest and on time. I know I can call him and he will do his utmost to be there to fix the problem fast. He is reasonable priced but price is not my main concern as I don't mind paying for quality work.

I have been having my hair cut and coloured here for over 10 years and I can highly recommend them. Very personal service, great coffee machine and I have never had a bad haircut. Also very well priced. Not at all expensive.

A very friendly supermarket that stocks a good range of items. They have really good value coupons and have great specials on essentials such as toilet paper. The post office has to be the friendliest most helpful post office you will ever find. As always with supermarkets its a good idea to check use by dates but I shop here several times a week and have had very little problems.

I have shopped here for years and their meat is top quality. I would especially recommend their ham, the cattleman's cutlets and the rib fillet steak. The staff are friendly and they will criovak the meat if need be. Only downside is that when you place an order it is best to check its ready before going to pick it up as they seem to get really busy and tend to forget the orders but other than that I would highly recommend them.

Set high on a hill overlooking Kingaroy and the mountains. There are only 4 cottages and each one is very private. Only small but beautiful. Cozy slow combusiton fireplace, timber floor boards, reverse cycle air conditioning, comfy lounge, BBQ on verandah, TV, DVD, Stereo, great little kitchen and in the fridge they provided 3 litres of milk, a full loaf of bread, juice, coffee, tea and condiments. Really well priced.

With the opening of Officeworks around the corner I think its important to support these smaller businesses. They may not have the variety of a larger store but they have all your everyday basics and the service is great. Someone will always greet you and help you to find what you are after. They are happy to order what they don't have. They offer delivery too I think.

We take both our 4WD and our 2WD to Mike regular servicing and any repairs. He is great and they always give me a lift to work and bring the car back to me when they've finished. The prices are reasonable and there have been many times where he has saved us money. Mike and his wife both drive competition 4WDS so they know their stuff. He is booked out a long time in advance so best to book ahead but always fits us in for emergencies.

Working in Brendale you get so sick of the little hot box snack bars around. This cafe is so much nicer. Its fully licensed, the food is fantastic and the staff (especially the chef) are so friendly. I have eaten there 3 times and had take away several times and I just love the place.

I bought a dining table from this company not quite 18 months ago and at the time I was very happy with the service and the price but the other day I noticed that the leather on one of the dining chairs was starting to crack all over. I have used leather conditioner on all of them and the other 9 chairs are fine. I expect there was a fault with this piece of leather but they refuse to do anything more than sell us a new chair at cost for $175. I would have expected a leather chair to last more than 18 months and I don't like their attitude that any bad review we might give will not affect them as they say they have a good name. I feel like I've been ripped off.
