Sunday morning breakfast with friend - we both had coffees + I had Bacon & Eggs on sourdough & my friend had Vanilla Yoghurt with Granola Clusters & Fresh Strawberries - both very happy with our meals/portion sizes - perfect - service was good - very busy - 9am booking - currently open from 8am Sat/Sun - staff friendly and not "in your face" rushing you off...

My daughter was in market for new car - Jeep Compass - traded in her used car - these guys/ladies were amazing - no pressure sales - easy to deal with - delivered what they promised - hassle free car dealership - will definitely look at buying a new car from this dealership myself when the time comes! Thank you for making my daughter's experience a pleasurable one and getting her into a brand new Jeep Compass (especially after the last nightmare buying a used car).

Met friend for coffee before movies Sunday morning - ordered flat white - service quite good - a little too attentive, but that's better than being ignored - as we did states when we first sat down that we were only there for coffee before the movies, not breakfast.

Met friend for coffee during lunch break in CBD - tucked away - never knew it was there - great little secret - next to St John's Cathedral - Cnr Ann/Wharf St - very good service and coffee - will be going back - tucked away from traffic of Ann Street.

Thursday night - 630pm - met 3 friends for dinner/coffee/wine at CBR Strathpine - opposite Westfield Strathpine, on Gympie Road - all ordered main meal + coffees + wine - great service, meals beautiful - very filling - good portion size - my first visit to this CBR - will definitely be back.

Met friend for coffee last Sunday morning - had heard great things about Doug's from various locals/acquaintances - highly over-rated I'm sorry to say - ordered coffee only as breakfast menu was very limited and this is ultimately a fish/chip shop which dabbles in breakfasts - we saw customers eating breakfasts - no menu visible on back wall - only seafood takeaway/eat in menu - not until we walked up to counter that we were able to see breakfast menu - laid on front counter - would be much better if menus were available at front of café, or even on tables so we could peruse them prior to going up to counter to order - no EFTPOS available, which would limit a lot of customers - I was prepared as I had been told about this by a friend prior to going. Overall, coffee was OK, but don't think I'd visit again for breakfast - fish and chips maybe.

Met a friend for coffee Sunday Morning - 9am - intention was to visit newly re-opened Brisbane City Hall - Museum of Brisbane and have coffee/cake at The Shingle Inn - brought back to life on the Ground Floor, Brisbane City Hall, after closing down and being packed away from Edward Street, to make room for Queen's Plaza. Staff member today said apparently 11 years ago - how time flies! I ordered coffee and cinnamon toast (the best!) and my friend had coffee and a "fairy" cupcake - brought back memories of our childhoods when visiting the city with our Mum's - thank you The Shingle Inn - great morning, great service - will definitely be back on a regular basis - menu pricing exceptionally good value! Check it out, people of Brisbane! You won't be left wanting!

Met a friend for breakfast on Sunday 9am. I ordered Fruit Toast - 2 slices for $8.00 + Mocca $4.00 - fruit toast definitely overpriced. My friend ordered Natural Muesli - also $8.00. Can't say we'd go there again for breakfast. Sorry guys!

Thursday night dinner with friends - ordered Lemon Chicken with steamed rice - generous portion size, great flavour - best lemon chicken I've had to date. Others ordered Steamed/Fried Dim Sims, Vietnamese Style Pad Thai Noodles, Satay Chicken - everyone was very pleased with their meals, and wine ordered - will definitely visit again! Thank you guys!

Sunday early morning - 8am - met a friend for coffee/light breakfast - ordered juice (freshly made - pineapple), avocado/tomato relish on toasted turkish bread and a mocha - juice was amazing - so fresh & tasty, breakfast was just enough, unfortunately the mocha was not great - I like my hot drinks to be "hot"! Apart from the mocha was great spot, on such a hot day! Beautiful breeze from the waterfront! Will definitely go back, but next time I will have to send my mocha back if it's not hot... sorry guys! I hate being "that" customer...
