One of the best views of the bay. Riva is a great spot to enjoy some food/drink on the deck and watch the sun set. The restaurant inside is fantastic and very popular with weddings/functions. At night it's not unusual for the music to be pumping with live music or a DJ.

Only hairdressers that i've ever been happy with. It is pricey (from a males perspective) however the service is second to none. You really do get what you pay for. Massage to start , 2 washes (before and after) and a facial is the standard. They have a rewards/discount program if you book your next appointment. I see Sarah, she's delightful and does a superb haircut.

Quality pub. Super busy in Summer/Holiday season but once you visit you'll see why it's popular. If you get there early or before the lunch rush you're good to go. Delicious pub grub including a nice Parma. Massive outdoor beer garden opposite the river is the perfect location on a sunny day. Has accommodation, functions and entertainment/gigs.

New Chef and menu in recent years has made this a nice place to eat. Friendly and nice RSL to grab a cheap feed and drinks. For the price, can't ever complain.

Want to escape the craziness of Byron? Then stop off at Bangalow Hotel. The only pub in town but a great spot to visit. Has a up market restaurant attached to it or if you prefer a normal pub meal you won't be disappointed either. Chill out on the deck or turn up on Tuesday night for some live music from the locals. Popular area for many celebrities to chill out.

Great place to stop on the freeway on you trip. Macadamia/nuts to purchase here are delicious. There's also an animal park and fun activities for the whole family. Worth a stop.

One of my favourite pubs in Coolangatta. Friendly staff and good meals are the reason we continue to return here. Been frequenting this place for many year. At the moment they're doing renovations so I'm sure it'll be even nicer inside once that's finished. Nice meals, especially cheap at lunch times. Great spot to sit and enjoy a beer. Not as "Cool" as the Cooly pub, but much nicer to sit inside and chill.

I've ordered pizzas here every fortnight for years now. Nice bloke that runs the restaurant. Great selection or gourmet and traditional pizzas. Quality ingredients and made to order. Nice little restaurant if you want to eat in too. Never had a bad pizza here. Best in the area by far!

My go to Thai restaurant. Nice spot for eat in dinner with BYO, they're licenced too or get take away/delivery. I eat here once a fortnight. Can recommend the green curries, pad thai & Massoman. Been working my way through their delicious menu. Lovely people that work here. Nice service and tasty food. Can't go wrong!

My fav local Chinese restaurant. So many yummy selections to chose from here, I usually grab the spicy salt and pepper calamari and honey chicken. Okay I might also get some spring rolls too! This is a great spot for eat in or take away and the people that work here are so nice. Delicious food, always quick to pick up and well priced for Melbourne. That's why it's my #1 for Chinese food!
