Nice place for a pub meal. You can eat in the bar or there is a restaurant with plenty of seats. Has deals throughout the week e.g. Parma night. There's even a kids eat for free day. Nothing fancy but always reliable.
Nice pub for a feed. Had lunch here with some family. Well priced place if you're up for a pub meal, I can recommend the chicken schnitzel. Establishment was nice and clean inside and had a family friendly vibe at lunch. Tasty food and cold beer, can't go wrong here.
I'm not totally sold on this place, when I lived in Elwood I spent some fun nights at Elwood lounge but I'm pretty certain it was my fun company that made the night not the location. It's like many places in Elwood, they put off a "vibe" that it's a relaxed and down to earth place, then the beers are super pricey. Can be a fun place but choose your nights carefully, open mike night can be a disaster. After a few beer I find it hard not to heckle at awful singers.
I used to live one street away from this pub. Every time I went, I was somewhat always disappointed. Inside its a nice place. Has a "fancy pub" side with a restaurant and a "blokey/trady" TAB side of the pub. So has your choice of options, and is a nice place to meet up for a quick drink. However, there isn't really any atmosphere or great live music going on so compared to other options in the area its almost always worth missing. The meals are on the expensive side and not that impressive, no salad options and parma is a let down. Not necessarily worth a drive there but okay if you can walk there and back.
Chapel street has to much to choose from, so people can get picky when thinking about places to go out there. It's a fun, easy going chill out spot. It's the first place on Chapel street from Dandenong Rd end, so perfect spot to begin a pub crawl. Mother's Milk is a place we use to meet up and begin a fun night out, after a couple of drinks there you'll find yourself looking for somewhere else to go. Still, good spot especially during happy hour.
Best beer garden in Melbourne. Awesome free live bands, great views of St Kilda and the beach, easy to get to. Can't want more...except not the cheapest place to drink. Overall it's one of my favourite places to go out, can't go wrong with a night out at "the Espy"!
Possibly best beer garden in Melbourne. Nice spot to catch up with mates, plenty of beer to choose from, fun atmosphere. Very popular on a sunny arvo.
Radest club in Melbourne! Do yourself a favour and visit the SOC. This place is an institution in my family. Every Birthday or celebration is spent at the SOC. I'm sure that this reflects the awesomeness of the SOC and not the total un-originality of my family. I'm pretty sure that we're cool because my Dad says we are, so give the SOC a try and I'm sure you'll become members too. Enjoy the bowls.

Best Thai restaurant on the Mid North Coast. Nice and quiet restaurant located opposite the inlet. Husband and wife business cooking authentic Thai meals. Friendly atmosphere and lovely service. Thinking of all the delicious meals I've tried there is making me hungry. Try it once and I guarantee you'll go back.

Best Greek restaurant I've ever been to! This place is amazing! My girlfriend is totally obsessed with this place and we have to go at least once every time we're near Byron Bay. I must admit, I too can't resist this place any more. You have to try the Mez platters, to die for. If you can try and book ahead before you go and you'll be sure to get in. Small friendly restaurant that is popular but not too busy or noisy.
