Huuuge parmas! Go there for dinner on a Tuesday when they have $15 parmas, with the choice of about 6 toppings. There's the classic parma (napoli, ham, cheese), bolognaise, capricciosa (napoli, ham, mushrooms, olives), hawaiian (napoli, ham and pineapple), aussie (napoli, egg and ham) and mexican (salsa, corn chips, jalapenos and sour cream + guac). Just be prepared to wait a while, our wait time ranged 20 min to over an hour..
Also worth noting: they allow you to split bills.
A schnitzel place that gives you the choice of wrap or burger, what type of meat (I've always had the chicken, but they have others) and then a selection of toppings. The parmigetton is awesome. I also like vegged out. Roughly $10, depends on which choices you make. Chips are also really good, and a variety of sauces are available (ranch, sweet chilli mayo, aioli, etc)
Approximate cost: $10
The rolls here were incredibly fresh and soft. Reasonably priced, too. I also bought an aged english cheddar which tasted great (but $8 for a wedge of it was a bit pricey) and some meat which I forget what it was called - but was also great! The service was great - I wasn't sure which cheese to go with but the guy was happy to recommend cheeses. They also have dips and other antipasto things - I'll be trying these next time!
I was expecting so little with this place.. especially when I turned up and wasn't given much attention from reception - they were fairly busy because last week had been schoolies and they were still cleaning everything up. No one helped me with my bags, etc, I felt like I was staying at a backpackers.
However things got better. After a while, I was able to check in (they had some weird payment problems) and the 'room' was .. wow. It was not just a room. I was staying there by myself, but it was clearly big enough for 4+ people. The view from the room was of the river, which was absolutely amazing. The kitchen was well equipped. Adjoining the bathroom, there is an actual room devoted entirely to a huge spa bath which doubles as your shower.
The dvd player in my room was missing the remote - I called reception about it who sent a guy to have a look for it and then went through all their remotes to try and find one that would work with it. He brought up some universal remotes and some batteries. He left me with one, but it didn't work. Turned out that the batteries were in the wrong way. I really appreciated the time this guy put in to getting me a remote so I could use the dvd player. It had a usb connection so you could play your own video files!
The garlic bread was okay, but the pizza was pretty great. Would come here again. A great place to visit with friends since they have Turkish inspired foods and Italian! If you don't like the one cuisine, you should be able to find something in the other.
A little pricey, but I was happy to pay it.
Consistent with the Leederville's Little Caesars, this one is great too. Had the dessert pizza here and were able to take some home for breakfast the next morning - absolutely amazing microwaved the next day! I would probably go to this Little Caesar's next time because Hillary's seemed like a nice place to visit (didn't get much time there).
While I wouldn't go so far as to say they make the best pizza (as my boyfriend seems to think), it is pretty good. We go here every time we're in Perth. Some great toppings (your traditional ones, and some pretty different ones!), a little pricey and always packed! Give yourself enough time to wrestle for a seat, or have it take away. They have some great dessert pizzas, too!
This place was really cool. It was pretty crowded, but it didn't take too long to get our drinks and food. The cider was great and we got pizzas and nachos.
This place has some incredibly unique burgers! I went to Brisbane on a trip and actually planned to go here after seeing the menu online. And I was not disappointed. The burgers were fairly large too.
The only problem was that I had difficulty finding the shop - this might however have just been my unfamiliarity with Brisbane haha.
This fish and chippery is also a bar, ice cream shop, cafe, pizza shop and kebab place in one! Lots of seating. I bought the salad from the bar/cafe area instead of getting the fish and chips with salad meal deal - it was actually cheaper. Weird. Their food was great. The waiter was super friendly - I was alone and he'd come past and casually make conversation with me, which I appreciated.
Food was ready relatively quickly. I would like to try their kebab and pizzas next time.
