Came here a couple of times to grab a snack or lunch. The mini quiches are really good. They had two types - lorraine and veggie I think? They sell full sized quiches and pies, too, but I've never tried them.

Cute cafe in little lonsdale street, just a short distance from Melbourne Central. We've been here only for dessert. They're open late and have some interesting choices. Passionfruit bread and butter pudding, creme caramel, fondue (cheese or chocolate), cake, etc. Reasonably priced, too. Doesn't look like much from the street, but it extends back into a large room with welcoming decor.

A chocolate shop with a cafe. But everything is lindt.

Lots of varieties of lindt chocolates. A bunch of ones you don't usually see. Pay by weight for lindt balls. Don't be fooled though by their size - you will pay a fair bit for them! I bought about $30 of chocolate without realising I even had that much.

The cafe is also pricey. $70 between the three of us, somehow. I must say though that the chocolate milkshake was amazing. I had the chocolate croissant, and tried some of the cake and ice cream the others had - nowhere near as good as the milkshake! So save yourself a whole bunch of money, and just get that. Or share with others. There's only so much chocolate a person can stomach...

Had breakfast here - good enough, but nothing special.

Also bought iced teas from here. They have the T2 strawberry tea, my favourite! They had specials when they first opened, bit more expensive. I went here over Chatime due to the cheaper drinks. Now that they're comparable and Chatime has greater variety, I go to Chatime.

The roti was nice. The laksa wasn't great. The noodles were okay. Fairly average place, really. The novelty of the open roti cooking kitchen and the ordering system (write the order on a pad of paper, and press the call staff button for attention) were the main pluses.

I've been here twice for actual food, and got turned away the third time. Have never and will never return.

Food for the most part was crap. Felt like they were using the crappiest parts of the chicken, and the worst quality. I tried something else too, but not memorable enough. I liked the egg custard buns, though. However, if you think you're going to come here for those only - think again.

6 of us had just had dinner and were in the mood for some dessert. Being the locals, we suggested here for these buns. We were seated easily as there was only one other table of customers, given menus and when we made our order of custard buns (~$10 total) - "you need to order more, there's a $5 minimum spend per person". So our order had to come to $30 between us for dessert. Um, no? There's another shop a few doors down that does custard buns (unfortunately didn't find them until another day) cheaper and without such a horrible attitude.

Great bar for smokers, but less so for those of us who don't. Unfortunately (I say this because of the smoking mainly), it's a favourite amongst my friends.

They make nice drinks. And decent pizzas (for only $6 or $8). And on Sunday arvos I've seen them do free bbqs (sausage, bread and salad). Okay music, and you can make requests from the DJ.

I'm in two minds on how to rate this - for cider, they're not bad. They have quite a selection. And the seating inside is nice (they have some tables outside too, just less comfortable).

However, the food.. avoid! I made the mistake of ordering a chicken parma once. I feel like they bought some oven bake chicken and slapped store bought sauce and ham onto it. It was really really bad.

Open 24 hours, this Greek restaurant always has customers inside and sometimes lining up outside the door. The souvlakis are cheap and really good. The perfect meal to soak up some alcohol after a night of drinks in the city. Yet, if you dine here earlier in the night, it's a great place to bring friends, coworkers or family for a nice dinner. The meals are quite nice, but less value than the souvlaki (hard to beat $10, but mains are around $20-$35).

I never eat the lamb souvlaki, because I've had two instances where I found chunks of fat/grizzle in it. Others who are less sensitive about that sort of thing (to me it's nauseating) have never complained and look forward to a lamb souvlaki every time. I usually go for the rissole souvlaki - really filling and tasty!

Asian grocery store in QV - easiest to locate from Russell Street. Great selection of frozen dumplings, iced teas, cooking sauces and spices, and snacks (pocky etc). Very reasonably priced.
