Mick was great and I highly recommend him. After the constant heavy rainfall in Brisbane a few weeks ago our lights were short circuiting so he came over first thing the next morning and spent quite a long time diagnosing and fixing the problem. In the end we couldn't find out what the problem was, so probably rain got into somewhere the day before and dried before he arrived, however the lights didn't short circuit again. He also gave us his card and said to call him if they did. He was friendly and obviously knew what he was doing. If we have another problem I'll definitely call him. I felt he was someone I could trust.

I had a good time at Benowa Tavern, and the staff were friendly but their service wasn't exceptional. Prices were quite good, but the food was a bit disappointing. The vegetables that I ordered with my steak were very over-cooked and my sister's calamari was soggy. My sister's chips and my steak, on the other hand, were very good. I have been there before a while ago and think the food was better then, but I can't honestly remember. My parents love going there for dinner and said that normally it is much better. The atmosphere is quite good and there is a fantastic area for kids to play in so it's very family-friendly. In summary, the food wasn't great, but I'd be happy to go again and give it another go.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of chiropractors, however Duane made me feel very safe and my back felt heaps better afterwards. He's the only chiropractor that I've been to, so I can't really compare, but the massage before each session is also very good and useful in helping you to relax and Duane is very knowledgeable and gentle. I'd go there again if I needed to.

Beauty on Olsen is fantastic and excellent value for money - you won't find many places that will do a Brazilian for $40. The staff are always friendly and happy and also gentle! Highly recommended!

I am having private tutoring lessons through Alliance Francaise and have found the staff to be very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I think the cost is a bit high, but on the other hand I'm more than willing to pay it for the standard of tutoring that I am receiving. I have previously done conversation classes at a different location (Darwin) and also found these to be very helpful and the staff equally experienced and friendly and helpful. If you become a member you also have access to a number of activities and services which are beneficial in helping you to learn the language and meet others. I highly recommend this company.

Very happy with South City Mazda. We bought our second hand Mazda from the Tweed shop and they shipped it up to Mount Gravatt for no fee or anything. When I had to have the car serviced they were friendly and helpful and also had the courtesy driver drive me home and pick me up when it was finished. Great service and very happy with them.

Very happy with these guys. After being told by a different company that we needed certain things done, these guys had a look and disagreed and said only two of the things on the extensive list given to us by the other company needed to be done. We had no problems with the car after they fixed those two problems. They are very friendly and honest and certainly aren't there to rip you off. Their prices are also very reasonable. We will be taking our car there always from now on.

We were not happy with Mansfield Motors. They were friendly and did the work that we asked them to satisfactorily, and also provided a thorough check which diagnosed and documented many recommendations for the car for free. The thorough check resulted in an extensive list of things to do, some things quite urgent. We took the list to another mechanic for a second opinion. The second mechanic said only two of the things needed to be done so we got those done through him as he quoted cheaper prices.

Two things that stood out from the report from Mansfield Motors was the CV joint and the timing belt. In regards to the CV joint they said there was grease on it and needed urgent repair. The mechanic who we took it to for a second opinion said that there was only mud on it. Mansfield Motors took exception to me writing this in our previous review on them and responded by saying that there was mud on it but it was sticking to grease which was being flung out and that they stand by their opinion that it needed urgent repair. At the end of the day, this occurred in August last year and at the time we took the advice of the second mechanic and did nothing about it and the car has given us no problems after the other two problems were fixed (which were unrelated to the CV joint).

The other thing we took exception to was that we interpreted the report as saying that the timing belt kit needed replacing, which had in fact been done 10, 000km earlier and was noted in the log book. Mansfield Motors, in response to my writing this in the previous review, claims that they did note that it was done in the log book and advised us to check our invoices to ensure that this was actually done and that the 'timing belt kit' was replaced rather than just the timing belt. There was obviously a miscommunication there. So my advice to you is to cross-check any recommendations they give to you with your log book and previous invoices, as they themselves recommended to us in their response to my previous review.

At the end of the day, we found a cheaper mechanic who we were very happy with and have had no problems with the car since our service with him which was a couple of weeks after the one we had at Mansfield Motors. As such, we will be continuing to go to him and not to Mansfield Motors.

Expensive, but worth it! These guys are true experts in their field. As someone who knows nothing about hair I know I can go in there and tell them to do whatever they think is best and I will come out with awesome hair. They have different levels of experience in regards to their staff and you pay more for the more experienced they are. The great news for students is that there is a student discount of 25% if you go during specific times. They also have specific hair cutters and colourists. I love Oscar Oscar and think the price is definitely worth it.

My son had occular cellulitis at the age of 15 months. The staff in the emergency department of the children's section were very calming for us and incredibly nice in such a stressful time. My son had to have a drip inserted and was obviously upset but having such wonderful staff there helped to make us calm which helped my son and he was as good as could be expected for a toddler who doesn't understand what is happening. The waiting times weren't too bad either and the waiting room had toys for him to play with so he was quite happy during the waiting time. If we ever have any issues in the future that require a hospital trip for my son we will go there.
