We didn't book and had to wait a little while for a table on a busy friday night, but it was well worth the wait. Yummy hand-made dumplings and noodles. Very cheap and great quality.

Approximate cost: $10.00

I was looking forward to dinner at Maedaya on a friday night. We had a booking for the downstairs section, however on arrival we were told that we would have to sit upstairs as there was no room downstairs. The upstairs section has a different menu to the downstairs section, and you actually have to cook your own food.

There were many, many problems that night:
Firstly, we had trouble getting the attention of a waiter to take our order. I understand that it was busy, but they need more staff. We were waiting for at least half an hour for someone to take our order.

We ordered a platter of assorted meat, which took approximately half an hour to take out, even though it had evidently been prepared long before it was given to us.

Then, it was another ten minutes before they bothered bringing us a charcoal grill so we could actually cook the food. We were absolutely starving by this point.

Finally, the ventilation is absolutely horrendous. I get that there's going to be smoke from a charcoal grill, but there was no ventilation whatsoever in the room so I was coughing all the time from the smoke, and left the restaurant reeking of it.

Had Sunday morning breakfast here with my mum and my boyfriend. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast of eggs on toast with mushrooms, but my boyfriend said his eggs were overdone. It was good value for the price, and the atmosphere is great. As the name suggests, the cafe is an old firestation, so there's lots to look at while you eat.

I see Dr Al-Haidary whenever I am ill. He is always professional yet friendly, and I never feel like he is rushing me. I feel like he spends adequate time discussing my issues and diagnosing me. Generally, waiting periods are acceptable, and I can often get in at the last minute to see him. Furthermore, the practice is bulk-billed.

If I had to describe this place in one word, it would be YUMMY. I have to stop myself from going in there every day to get the chilli hot chocolate. It is thick with just a hint of heat, and so delicious. The owner obviously loves his chocolate and the quality of the product reflects this. The staff are very friendly and service is usually very quick.

The atmosphere and design of the cafe are really great, it's quirky and cute. The food is absolutely amazing, the homemade beans in particular. However, the staff are downright rude at times, even when it's not very busy. I haven't been back since the first time a few months ago, so they might have improved on service since then.

This review is for Stolberg Beer Cafe, Preston VIC

We usually pop into the Stolberg on tuesday nights for their $13 steaks. For $13, they're great, but I wouldn't pay the full price for them on any other night. We also head to the Stolberg for casual drinks occasionally, and it's fine for that. The atmosphere is a bit dead usually, but the staff are friendly, the service is good and the beer garden is really lovely.

The room was basic, but had everything we needed. Right in the centre of it all, a great starting spot to visit all the wineries of the region. Our hosts were absolutely delightful, very friendly and helpful.

We live in the area and have often driven past Chill but never gone in. One night we couldn't be bothered cooking, and noticed on their website they had a $20 schooner & meal deal between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, so we raced down and grabbed a delicious meal. We tried the fish & chips which was crispy and delicious, and the beef burger, which was just fantastic. The setting is relaxed and the staff are friendly.

I haven't attended any gym since I moved house about a year ago, and frankly was reluctant to join any in the area. Then Genesis opened up a few months ago. The prices are standard for gyms, and the equipment is brand new. There is a good variety and quantity of both cardio and weights equipment and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
