I buy fresh flowers for my home each week, it is a small luxury that brightens my mood every day. I have a modern home and I like things that are quite contemporary and I am so delighted that Birchbox has opened in Yarraville. Instead of the usual lillies and roses, they have a gorgeous selection of exotic, unusual and old fashioned blooms and foliage. I literally cant decide what flowers to choose it week. When the staff realised that I prefered things like lotus pods or fig branches, they actually looked for more unusual varieties for me at the market on the days that I usually came into the shop. The weeks where my budget is stretched I know that I can buy a gorgeous single spider orchid stem for $5 (the cost of a cup of coffee). I adore this local shop and its lovely knowlegable staff and I cant recommend it highly enough.
