Kirrawee Bunnings is the biggest hardware shop in The Shire. They have the largest range of DIY products around as well as heaps of parking, a good play-land for the kids, an indoor cafe and sausage sizzles every weekend.

So relax, grab a coffee, dump the kids and have a look around at all the things you can buy to turn your house into a home. (and then have to spend more money getting a professional tradesman to fix your mistakes)

The product you want, in stock? Check!
Prices that are always 100% RRP? Check......
Products that are messy because the customers are slobs? Check
Staff that know their products, if you can find them? Check!

If you need specialised sporting gear that is actually for sport, then Rebel Miranda is the place to go. It was good to have my son fitted for his first soccer shoes.
If you want casual "sporty" clothing & footwear, keep away as their prices are a bit steep. But if you want to spend $60 for a sport brand t-shirt, they will gladly take your money.

Approximate cost: $60

I'm pretty happy with Energy Australia, just as long as I don't have to call them.
Had some trouble with some of their staff not being able to understand me correctly. I suspect that they send some of their overflow calls overseas. This is ok as it reduces wait times and costs, but increases my frustration at having to explain myself three different ways.

But hey, they do keep the power running and I do like having things like lights, refrigeration and hot water. So for the actual Electricity service, they get 5 stars.

Poorly displayed products in over-stocked shop? Check
Underpaid staff who don't know anything about the products? Check
Prices that aren't that good or negotiable? Check

There are better electronics shops around, reward them with your money. It's just a pity they still use Dick Smith's name for this once great business.

A great little shop with a fantastic selection of children's books.

For all levels of readers with board books through to tween fiction.

Really comfortable for children to take their time to find something they might be into, a little too comfortable for my three year old! Very happy and will be back for more.

You could buy a cheaper stuffed toy elsewhere and I'm sure that your child would love it.

Or you could allow your child to build their own plush friend and to be involved with the construction, each step on the way.

And you aren't just buying a toy, you are giving your child a memorable experience in bringing their new furry friend to "life". Well worth it for the activity and top quality materials.

The only place for snacks & drinks in the area and they know it.

The smell of the rancid cooking oil they were using for the fried food should have given me warning to stay away, but I rarely refuse to try a cafe once.

It was that once and never again. Bland and flavourless coffee. It was clear that the beans were old and / or the espresso machine hadn't been cleaned properly.

Disappointing coffee, I'm just glad that we brought our own snacks to the park.

This review is for Ichiban Boshi, Sydney NSW

Pretty good Ramen, probably the best you are going to get in Australia.
It's always good when you have authentic Japanese food made and served by real Japanese people. Most places that claim to be Japanese, aren't.

Ichiban-boshi is the real deal. Ramen & Gyoza is just as good as at most Ramen shops in Japan. There was even a selection of real Japanese candy to buy too, that was kinda fun.

This review is for Sushi 2 Go, Kangaroo Point NSW

Went to Sushi 2 Go today and it was really good.

I enjoyed the Teriyaki Chicken & Fried Prawn rolls.

The spicy "inside out" roll was a bit on the too-spicy side, but it was good also.

Great place, but they give you too much soy sauce. Will definitely go back again, probably the best sushi in The Shire.

Their new location is a fair bit smaller than the old shop, but they still have pretty much everything you need for your various hobbies.

Great place and helpful staff.
