This review is for Bunnings Warehouse, Caringbah NSW

You can't go wrong with Bunnings.

Their prices are usually pretty good, not always the best like they claim. And it's often more bother than it is worth to get them to match prices.

The Taren Point store (Don't make me laugh by saying it is inside Caringbah) is a little on the small side, but they have most things that you need for your DIY or BBQ.

Parking is good and there is even a play land inside where you can let the kids have a romp around.

I am quite fond of Good Guys Caringbah, but to say that it is Caringbah is a joke. They are smack bang in the middle of Taren Point.

The store is pretty big, they do carry a large range of products in stock and anything else they can order in. It's always good to do your homework BEFORE you go in as their staff aren't always that knowledgeable. All they do seem to be experts at is: cutting prices.

But if you are happy with that, then these are the guys for you; the Good Guys.

This review is for Big W, Miranda NSW

I honestly don't think that Big W Miranda has ever changed it's layout in the 20 years that I have been going there. Clothing, Electronics, Toys and Footwear are in exactly the same position I remember from when I was a teenager.

That said, you can be sure of what you are buying if it is a branded product. Some of their store brand products are a bit hit and miss, usually miss....

As a user of Everyday Rewards I find Big W doubly useful to pick up a few household items and score extra points. Though it is surprising to see some of their prices are more expensive than Woolworths.

It always pays to compare!

All in all, I don't mind going up to Big W Miranda.

This review is for Play Time, Miranda NSW

It's only worth going if you get the unlimited pass, the short time pass is expensive for what you get.

That said my boys love this place and will always beg to go in and play. It's handy to let your kids go crazy inside and be confident they won't do serious damage to themselves.

This review is for TPG Internet, Parramatta NSW

I have the $69.95 monthly plan and have no problems at all.

My internet speeds are pretty good.
The quality of local, long distance and international calls is good.

The price of everything in the one bundle is just great. Though I bet prices will only come down. Happy with no problems at all

I found this service through WOMO and thought I'd sign up, but when I saw that 2450 points would only give me a $20 gift card, I closed the window to never go back.

I don't like the idea of working to earn points only to have them skimmed off to get my earnings / rewards.

This review is for Flybuys, Melbourne VIC

I am not a fan of fly buys.
The rewards expire after three years and take forever to earn.

And since companies like Red Rooster & Grace Brothers (it's not Myer to me and never will be) dropped out, it's become harder and harder to earn rewards through Fly Buys.

Not something I bother with any more.

This review is for RewardsCentral, St Leonards NSW

I have been a user of rewards central for a while now and I do enjoy using the site, but there isn't much choice for daily reward web clicks any more.

It's even better if you have an account with myopinions.com.au and you transfer the points over regularly.

This review is for David Jones, Miranda NSW

I love browsing in David Jones Miranda, but I don't always enjoy shopping here.

The products are always nicely displayed, but sometimes there are boxes of stock out. Not what I expect from an "upper class" department store like DJ's.

Also there are times when I feel that I can't find anyone to help me when I need assistance, but when I do find someone they usually know enough about the product to help me.

Their returns service is fantastic and I always know that I can buy with confidence from DJ's.

This review is for Grind Espresso Bar, Cronulla NSW

verified email - 15 Nov 2012

I'd rather be at grind..

This out of the way coffee shop serves up the best coffee in Cronulla. While they might be a bit busy at times in their hidden location, the quality of their coffee explains everything.

Though I find their photo wall is full of a little too much "self love", it's just a coffee shop after all.
