If you are in the Toowoomba area and looking a nice lunch then I would highly recommend stopping at Flavours in Hampton.

Surprisingly good food and great coffee. Try a BLT with the bad boy fries and finish with an Apple and Rasberry pie, you'll be glad you did...your waist line may complain, but tell it to mind its own business.

Not a bad option to take the family. The food is ok and the service is usually pretty good. Good choice for Mexican but there are better options in Upper Mount Gravatt for a family dinner though..

Located in the Carindale Shopping Centre near the Big W end. Not as big as the store at Upper Mount Gravatt and the range of items and room to move around suffers a bit. Suffers from the same service issues as most Rebel Sports stores in that you are very lucky to a) find someone b) find someone who can really help.

But in a centre of girly shops at least its one that the boys can visit..

This Coles is an old BiLo store and is quite a bit smaller than some Coles stores. It is very handy to get to if you want to pick up some things and the staff are generally really good.

Unfortunately this store seems to suffer from either being in an ugly duckling shopping centre or maybe Coles don't think it has a long term future..anyway..this means the equipment is old and I try to avoid ever buying anything from the freezer, deli or perishables areas. I have been burnt with re-frozen ice creams one to many times.

I love their Curry Chicken / Pork. Words can't describe how addicted I am to this place. I almost won't go to a shopping centre that doesn't have a Hanaichi store. With 2 kids in tow, order a large Chicken Curry and an extra bowl of rice and you can have lunch for $10.

Looking for something nice, but not too expensive while shopping at Carindale? Mrs Fields Cookies is near the escalator on the ground floor, opposite Lowes Meswear. The food is great and the coffee is ok. The service is always friendly and its not usually as busy as some of the other cafes.

Rating it as a place to take family & friends for a meal. In a word - don't bother. I have had good meals and great service when I have eaten here, but there have also been some horror shows. The biggest rub was having a friend spoken to by the 'bouncer' for wearing sandals (colorado ones) when were there last time for a meal with our families. Open shoes on men are apparently different to open shoes on anout 30 women in the same place..

My favourite of the two Post Offices in the Eight Mile Plains / Runcorn area. The service is always friendly and efficient. They have moved from Runcorn Plaza to the new shopping centre on the corner of Warrigal and Underwood Road. The shop is bigger and they have more things for sale.

Looking for a new lock for a security screen. Very hard to find anyone to help me check I had the right one. The staff are usaully friendly and helpful once you manage to find them though.
