Nathan did various work for us around the house including supply and replacing a mixer tap, replacing washers and servicing other taps in the laundry and bathroom, and also work to correct an incorrectly plumbed dishwasher from the previous owner.

He used quality materials (15 year warranty on the new mixer tap), and his repairs on everything else were of a high standard.

He also turned up on time, and left no mess behind.

Highly recommended.

We had dinner here one Saturday night on the way home from the city. We did not have a reservation, and were lucky to get a table, as it was busy - generally a good sign. The variety on the menu was good and the service was friendly. The curries were generally good, but we thought the fish cakes were a bit rubbery. Be aware that this is a BYO restaurant, and there is nowhere within walking distance to purchase wine/beer. Easy to see why it is popular with the locals.

The team from Vince's did an exterior paint to our home in Albany Creek. The quoting process was thorough and on time, and the painting team turned up on time as well when it was time to start the job. The quality of work was great, as was the attention to detail in completing the job and cleaning up afterwards. Thanks to Oliver, Alan and Paul for their efforts.

We visited Portabella for lunch and took advantage of the set price lunch menu.

Great value and quality, with a good variety on both the menu and drinks list. Very reasonably priced for the quality, and the service was very good as well. Easily the best place to go for a long lunch in the area that we have visited so far.

A great little bakery on the Mudjimba Esplanade, selling good quality pies, pastries and traditional Aussie bakery favourites at reasonable prices. Friendly service and very popular. Worth a visit, and easy access to the park opposite.

Melbourne has France-Soir, and Brisbane has French Martini. For us, French Martini is the better of the two because the weather is better here and you can sit outside in the South Bank precinct overlooking the gardens.

Offering a simple and traditional French menu, French Martini has excellent service and food, along with an outstanding wine list featuring mostly French wines. Pricing is good considering the quality, and there are many crappy pubs that charge much more for much less.

An excellent venue worth an excellent rating.

We ordered take away pizzas one night during the week from Florentina's. The bases on the pizzas were really good, nice and crispy and thin, but the toppings were quite disappointing - poor quality and uninspired.

Great fish and chips and excellent burgers. We've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Very popular, so expect to wait, but it's worth it.

I hired a chainsaw from BHS recently. After comparing many other hire services, their price was the most competitive. The chainsaw was in great condition, their service advice was comprehensive, and the staff were all friendly. I will return to them when I need to hire other things.

We had pizzas and beer here one afternoon recently. The pizza selection was good, and really well made, the beer selection was enormous and made choosing difficult, yet pleasurable.
