Why go to Preece's? Coffee and Vanilla Slice! (Plus it's location in Redcliffe).

The coffee we had was great, made with skill, and the Vanilla Slice is perhaps the best in AUSTRALIA!

No, no, not some gelatinous yellow snot block here, Preece's Vanilla Slice is crunchy pastry, awesome creme patissiere and so goddam moreish, you could be a contender on The Biggest Loser in no time at all, and love every minute of getting there!

The Coolum SLSC is directly on the beach, has a well stocked bar, and efficient service. This was the second time we have visited in two years on holidays.

The menu is a pretty standard club menu, with a good selection of seafood offerings as you would expect in this location, as well as some 'dinner for two' options. The quality was nothing special however, but not bad either - hence the average rating. We may be tempted to try elsewhere next time.

We receive a daily newsletter about what the kids have done, the site is clean and the food is prepared on site in a well equipped kitchen.

I booked a social round of golf for a Saturday afternoon 4 weeks in advance. I confirmed this booking with a second phone call, and asked the Pro Shop if they required my mobile number, the answer was no.

After turning up with a friend from interstate at the appointed time, dressed appropriately and with our clubs, we were told that the course was closed that day for a club competition.

There was no apology, no remorse shown - nothing. The person in the Pro Shop did not seem the slightest bit concerned that somewhere along the line our booking (and follow up) was worthless, and gave us the feeling that somehow we had made a mistake.

Exceedingly poor effort. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the state of the course (although I've heard it's nice), or the clubroom, as neither was used.

We left our cooking knives here for sharpening by Mark. They were completed the same day (a few hours later in fact). The quality of the sharpening was excellent - the knives were almost better than new - and the price was also very good.

There is also a large range of knives instore as well.

We have been a few times to the ACT, the menu is good, the service quick and the kids area outside with tables is a bonus. A few more different beers on tap would be nice. Pricing is reasonable, but we have yet to brave the steaks. The Parma as a benchmark is good.

Matt is a true professional. He took the time to come over and consult with us regarding a solar system install, his quote was comprehensive, and his communication thereafter was second to none.

He always turned up on time, was very courteous and respectful, and his workmanship impeccable. The solar system installed is awesome, and we are extremely happy with the end result, and will be for many years to come.

Matt also did some troubleshooting at our premises, rectifying some shoddy work done by previous electricians, giving us the confidence that our house is now safe and meets or exceeds required safety standards.

We are glad to have found Matt and 3D Energy via WOMO, and we will not hesitate to use his services again in the future.

Yes, it can be strange handing over your house keys to someone to look after your pets whilst you are away, but after meeting Jenny, we felt very confident that she was trustworthy and reliable.

Jenny did a great job of looking after our cats Tuvok and Neelix when we away for a weekend. Her communication and follow up was great and the cats were much happier staying at home rather than if we had put them in a kennel.

We will definitely be using The Cats' Pyjamas Pet Sitting again when the need arises.

We used CleanCo for an end of lease bond clean and pest control. Not only was their price the most competitive, the end result was truly exceptional! The cleaner sent spent well over 12 hours detailing the property to a faultless standard, as well as doing an end of lease pest control as well, which many companies don't offer.

The landlord was extremely happy with the end result, as were we. We will never bother trying to do an end of lease clean ourselves again, we will always use CleanCo!

We asked a number of fencing companies for a quote for what was a smaller job. Many did not even bother to return our call. Paul did. He returned our call promptly, his quote was comprehensive and the workmanship is excellent. He was able to show us what work had been done previously to make our choice selection easier. Paul came for the quote when he said he would, and the job was completed on the days he said it would be.

What none of the other companies realised was that this initial job would lead to more, larger business on our property later on. Their loss - Picket and Post Fencing's gain.
