Went to Toto's with a friend and ordered a large Toto's Special pizza. This is kind of a pizza with the lot.Was told that it would take 10 minutes so I quickly ducked out and bought some milk at the nearby Aldi. My friend was waiting at Aldi for me within 5 minutes. Wow I was impressed, what quick service from Toto's. We drove home and opened the pizza box only to find a lukewarm ham and pineapple pizza. Rang Toto's to be told that they realised their mistake and was told that we should drive down and they would replace the pizza for free. Since I live in an area that is a difficult drive during daylight I was reluctant to venture out at night to pick up a replacement pizza.. We ate the lukewarm ham and pineaaple pizza which is not a flavour that either my friend or I enjoy. Toto's did the right thing by offering to replace the pizza, however it was made quite clear that we would have to return to the store to pick it up.

Great fresh food and delicious coffee. They made up a greek salad for my husband, even though it was not on the menu. I had a house specialty of turkish bread with avocado, tomato, lettuce and bacon-it was divine. The coffee was like silk and very enjoyable.

This review is for OPSM, Wantirna VIC

Eight months ago I attended OPSM for an appointment and was advised that I was borderline for needing multi-focals. The optometrist told me that in 6 to 12 months I would find that I would need to go from single lens glasses to multi-focals. Well the time had come to move on to multi-focals as I work in front of a computer so my eyes have lately been struggling.
I went into OPSM with the intention of finding a pair of frames and then filling the multi-focal script which they had on record. A sales person came over promptly to offer assistance and I explained the situation to her. I said to her that once I found the frames that I wanted,I would then ask for assistance. Two further sales people came over during my searching for frames asking if I needed any help. This was disruptive and distracting because I had already explain the situation to the first sale assistant.
Finally with the help of my daughter I found a pair that I was happy with and approached an available sales assistant. I asked her to look up my script which was held on their computer system. She found it promptly and I told her to go ahead with the sale. The sales assistant told me that they only had a single vision script on their system for me. I new this was incorrect as I had seen the multi-focal script recorded eight months previously. Not only did she consult the computer system, she then went out the back to get the card that my script was also recorded on. She spent ten minutes insisting that there was no multi-focal script recorded. The sales person(very keen to get the sale) came up with the bizarre idea of creating a single lens for me(well I already have that in my current glasses) and they could slot in towards the bottom something for distance vision. This was an ill informed suggestion as you can't just make up a lens as you go along. I was taken aback by this ridiculous suggestion. One of her work collegues came along and in a split second pointed out to this sales person that if she looked to the right a bit, she could see my multi-focal script. It was obvious that she was clueless. By this point she had long lost the sale. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. As a result of this, I plan to go elsewhere, resit my eye examination and get a professional to fill the script. I do understand that the sales staff are probably only experiences in selling frames, but they should have some understanding of eye scripts and how to read them.

This review is for The Angliss Hospital, Ferntree Gully VIC

Had an operation at the William Angliss in April and I must say that the hospital was great. Each and every staff member that I came in contact with was warm and caring. Nurse Rosie in East ward was exceptional. She made a stressful time less so by her empathetic nature. Nothing was too much trouble for any of her patients. I will always remember her kind deeds. there was an elderly woman who was dying in our ward and nurse Rosie was so warm and caring with her. Some of the wards are a bit old and tired but the staff more than made up for the lack of resources.

We use the book all the time. It is brilliant for dining out. There are lots of restaurants to pick from so it makes dining out really easy. The savings that we have made is money in our pocket. There is also a wide variety of restaurants so you end up trying cuisines that you possibly might not do ordinarily.
We buy the book every year. However don't assume that because a chain of restaurants have been in previous books, the latest vouchers may not apply to particular locations.. Check out the current participating locations on the back of your voucher. Coffee Club participates in this years book.....but the Knox Ozone location has been removed. When my daughter presented her voucher at Knox, she was rudely told by the cashier that Knox Coffee Club was no longer part of the scheme. It is my daughters fault that she did not check the back of the voucher, but the rudeness was uncalled for.

This review is for Zagame's, Boronia VIC

verified email - 16 Jun 2008

Zagame's is ideally suited to a family dining experience. If you have small children, even better, as they can amuse themselves in the indoor playground. The menue is large and there are also some quite interesting items. On the day that I attended they had Kangaroo steak as a special. Serves are generally large and reasonably priced. It gets quite busy so noise levels are a problem. For pub/club food the quality is quite good. Have eaten there a few times and have never been disappointed with the quality of food.
Ordering drinks at the bar can be quite slow. There seems to be no queuing system at the bar. You are better off ordering drinks when the wait staff come to your table.

I love this shop. I come here at least once a week to stock up on all my goodies. I use their natural henna hair dye in my hair, the soaps and shower gels, the face cleansers and moisturisers, lip balm and perfume. Lush has everything you need and beautiful friendly service. Its as natural as you can get with beauty products and handmade. my favorite store :)

This review is for Soulmama, St Kilda VIC

Went to Soul Mama for a birthday celebration, so the group included friends who had never eaten at a Vegetarian Restaurant. The non vegetarians were pleasantly surprised at the vast variety of food available. They also found their meal very tasty. Most of the food was delicious although I seemed to have gotten the last of a mushroom pasta in the bain marie, so it was chewy and quite dried out.
It is very noisy so it is hard to hear the waitress. This was not great because some of our table missed out on hearing the various options available and therefore missed out on ordering the lunchtime special deal. If you know how their dish ordering system works it is great, however for newcomers it can be quite confusing.
Dessert was divine.
The views were great and was even entertained by a pod of dolphins frolicking close to shore.

This review is for The Coffee Club, Wantirna South VIC

Only go to the Coffee Club because it is a good central meeting point for family and friends at Knox. Having been there time and time again, it has never exceeded my expectations. On the plus side....the coffee is good.
The food is ordinary and I try to avoid eating there. Service can be quite slow. Don't even bother ordering the Greek Salad. What you will get is a garden salad with a few bits of cheap feta thrown in. The garnish is dried herbs. Not authentic and no thought given to how it tastes. We now have learnt to meet there for just coffee and then to move on elsewhere for a meal.

Huge store with wide array of books etc. They also have a lovely array of cards which are great for someone looking for cards that are a bit different. The specials tables are full of bargains. Especially love the 75% off tables.
Friendly helpful staff.....perhaps too chatty because they forgot to remove the security casing surrounding a dvd that I bought. I bought several items so i did not notice that it had not been removed. This now means that I have to make a trip back to get it removed.
