I had my car insurance with AAMI (both comprehensive & green slip) for several years without any issues.... until I needed to make a claim which left me car less for 3 months as well as extremely frustrated as communication from them was always incorrect. It came to the point that I had to chase up the place that had my car directly to get the correct information and had to organize my own courtesy car. I was one extremely upset customer.

I was with AAMI for a long time and they were great, but as soon as I needed them for something, they failed to help. I was so disappointed and moved on immediately. Insurance should be a two way street.

I have been with AAMI for many years, I've got my greenslip, third party property and home contents. The prices seem to get lower every year, I always get an aussie on the phone when I call and I like that.

I have been insured with AAMI for over 5 years now. After two claims I can honestly say that they are very professional, friendly and the service is great. You just drop your car off, they order a taxi to take you home and arrange to pick you up by taxi when your car is ready. AA++

Great customer service!! i have used AAMI for over a year now. Was in a "not my fault" accident. No forms to fill, Car repaired to perfection. They called me back in another month or so to check if the car was okay, Strongly recommend. A few dollars more than others, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!

I have used AAMI for a number of years for car insurance. They have been great at organising car repairs, checking quality and provide great follow-up and communication. Cost of insurance is very reasonable when compared with others too.

I found that for my car I could get the same cover else where for cheaper. But it totally depends on your car type and where you live. Get a quote and test for yourself.

i had a landlords insurance with AAMI and was paying $40.50 dollars per month
then i noticed the payment went up to 120.08 per month a 300% increase that i did not authorize
when i inquired about this they said that unless i cancel the policy it it continues and that they sent me a letter stating the increase i did not receive
