Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.. they have not disappointed us. we have taken family and international travellers there and not once have they been faulted. the happy disposition of the staff and owners is a refreshing change and if a mod is needed in the food, they are only too happy to oblige - Yes we keep going back when we can and breakfast is always the first choice.

We didn't have a booking, and they were pretty packed but found a spot big enough to fit 10 of us. We asked for a high chair but they said it was booked out. After 30 minutes since we got there, and just after our meals arrived, one of the staff realised that the other booking wasn't until at least another half hour away, so we could use their high chair. Food was lovely.

Great food, generous portions & well priced. Nice big restaurant with high ceilings which gives it a very open feel. Fairly small outdoor eating area. Child friendly with a nice grassed area for them to play on. We ate here & then went next door to Yahava for a nice coffee.

Lunch was a last minute decision by sister and myself. So glad we decided to go to Penny Garden Restaurant Restaurant. Fantastic all round (except for the screaming kids at the other table, but that's out of the restaurants control). I will definitely have to go back and take my husband. The waitresses (3 that served us) were all polite and new their jobs. Well done!

Resturant going to wasn't open on Monday, and found Penny Garden by the side of road open, what an unexpected surprise for my family. Pleasent atmosphere, enjoyable sorrandings.

what can I say good food, great service anytime. I have been several times and have taken different friends and family members each time. Everyone of the loved pennygarden.

I went to lunch on Sunday with 3 friends and was impressed with the choices on the menu. The prices were reasonable but the thing that impresed me the most was that the food and the coffee all came out piping hot which is most unusual. Most restaurants I have been to the food always comes out luke warm.

Brilliant; especially if you are Gluten Intolerant. The restaurant setting was lovely and the customers content. The staff were unobtrusive but on the ball and the food was very tasty. Usually, as a Coeliac, I have to suffer some dry, bland piece of meat with salad but not only did I have a choice of dishes but they were easy to find and came with sophisticated sauces; heaven! I can't wait to go back.

I have eaten often at the Penny Garden, love it for its commitment to super fresh ingredients, multicultural selection, EXCELLENT vego options, a gluten free choice, and most of all, seriously good cooking, and delightful service. The place is welcoming, unpretentious and great value. It continues to impress.

I attended on a Sunday morning for breakfast with 3 lady friends. We were greeted & seated with a friendly smile. Given a nice amount of time to look the menu which had Vegan & Gluten free dishes which was great as I am Gluten intolerant. I ordered the omelette with ham & cheese. On it's arrival I had a mushroom & cheese version on telling the waiter it was whisked away with great apologies. My new omelette arrived steaming hot within about 10mins. with more apologies Only problem was the my friends had finished their breakfast which they all enjoyed. On paying our bill which we could do separately - if only all cafes etc would/could do this!! I again received more apologies for the mix up with my order. I thought that this was a very nice touch that many cafes could adopt - after all we are all human & make mistakes if we owe up to them people usually do not mind.

awesome service,the staff were very attentitive,we arrived on sunday at 1pm the place was 3/4 full but we ere quickly served & the food was great definately recommend & can't wait to go back again

We've been going to Penny Gardens since they opened, and it continues to be a great little restaurant. Service is always friendly, food has always been great.

Popped in for lunch on Sunday, and had one of the Specials of the Day - Mixed Grill for two. It was a good size platter for two - we had a garlic bread to start, and were struggling to finish the platter.

The Beef was tender and tasty, the lamb cutlets were delicious with the touch of rosemary, but the chicken was surprisingly the star of the plate. A small Greek salad on the platter as well, just so you can pretend to be healthy :)

Desserts looked tempting, but we just did not have room for it. Next time...!

We came with no preconceived expectations & were pleasantly surprised at what a great meal we had. Fantastic service, such great staff, didn't hover but always there when you needed them. It was nice to see so many families with young kids welcome, this is a place we will definitely re-visit & bring our family & friends. Well done!!!

The swan valley needs this place, its light,airy and spacious without being steile. We had breakfast here monday 5th March '12, after being turned away for being too late...too early, from 4! other places on west swan road....it was 10.30/11 am. The service was sharp, food beautiful, peaceful ambiance, and well priced........thank-you for breathing a bit of life into the area.....good coffee to. My husband loved is gourmet breakfast also, we said to each other we will return for lunch or dinner, this will become our 'go to' place with over seas visitor's etc.

Have been to Penny Gardens many times, and have always enjoyed it. The menu changes regularly, yet the food is always good.

Service is always friendly, and it is a family-friendly restaurant. Portions are usually generous, so we can't always manage dessert, but they have some yummy desserts as well.

We were welcomed warmly and taken to our table. The menu was explained clearly and when we ordered dips we were advised that we had overordered....this was correct. the food was very nicely presented and tasted every bit as good as it looked. The desserts were lavish and the portions rather large for the end of a meal so we didn't have coffee. The crepes were a little disappointing as they were not as thin as i would have expected. It is certainly a restaurant we will be returning to. The menu was varied with many choices. We were a group of four and we were all pleased with the experience of dining at Penny Garden

THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND VERY FAMILIAR WITH THEIR EXTENSIVE MENU.
ENTREES WERE GREAT AND SERVED QUICKLY. WE WERE ACTUALLY ASKED WHETHER WE WANTED OUR MAIN MEAL STRAIGHT AFTER ENTREE OR DID WE WISH TO WAIT. THIS WAS A NICE TOUCH AS WE DIDN'T FEEL AT ALL RUSHED.
ALL OF OUR MEALS WERE VERY FRESH WELL PORTIONED AND WELL PRICED. WE WILL DEFINATELY RETURN AND WOULD RECOMMEND PENNY GARDEN AS A MUST TRY.

We have been dining at Penny Garden since the restaurant opened and often dine with friends after hard shifts. The guys have always given the best service and we have only ever experienced one glitch in their great service. We mentioned our disappointment and the Penny Garden crew were very upset that we had made no mention at the time. They made every effort to make us feel that our concern was their concern and we have no hesitation in recommending the restaurant.

We got coffees very quickly. Food took 45 minutes to come as there was a large party ahead of us. The staff apologized for the wait and gave us free coffees and the food was fresh and perfectly cooked.
