I found PIA online when comparing prices and found them the cheapest for value. I haven't had a problem with them or my cover and have needed it at some stages and never had a problem.

I had never seriously looked at pet insurance before but after incurring $8000 in veterinary bills at the end of my old dog’s life I decided to investigate insurance options when I purchased a new puppy. Pet Insurance Australia seemed to be the best value for money and taking out a policy with them has turned out to be a good decision. Despite purchasing from a registered breeder using dogs which had been hip and elbow scored by 7 months of age my Labrador puppy had been diagnosed with dysplasia in both elbows which required corrective surgery. The claims process through Pet Insurance Australia was simple and I received payments back promptly for the accounts I had paid both with my own vet and the specialist veterinarian we were referred to for surgery.

We decided on PIA with our new puppy as they offered the best value for money. We have only had to make one claim for poisoning/toxicity. The claim process was relatively straight-forward and smooth, but of course the payout was less the significant excess and only a percentage of costs. This was the terms of our policy though, so I can't really complain! Overall the customer service online and over the phone has been excellent and they have honoured the policy when we needed it.

Highly recommend! Pet Insurance Australia have made the whole pet insurance thing so so easy. It was simple to set up, the premiums are great value and very competitive. Unfortunately for our cat Arthur we had to make a claim after being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease but PIA was so easy to claim, they made the whole process so simple, straight forward, and quick! I was very happy with their professional service.
