Was excited to purchase some furniture from Temple & Webster. Purchased 5 items for over $2,000. What I didn't realise was that they would all be shipped individually using Toll and that I would be required to take 5 full days off work to be home for the delivery. They only deliver during business hours Monday-Friday and cannot provide a delivery "window". You are required to be home the whole day as they could come anytime. Being large furniture items there was no where secure or undercover for them to be left and they were too large for me to pick up from the depot. Tried speaking to both Toll and Temple & Webster to find a solution but that was a complete waste of time. So far I have taken three full days off work for the first three deliveries and presently have an armchair stuck at the Toll depot because I can't take anytime off work. Temple & Webster's response was simply that I have until the 15th to pick it up myself from the Toll depot or it will be sent back. The furniture is a lot more expensive once you factor in taking a full week off work. Terrible service. I've bought large appliances and furniture online before and Saturday delivery has always been available. Temple & Webster are trying to save a few dollars by only delivering on week days but that combined with shipping each item individually makes shopping from them impossible if you work standard business hours. Also expect to wait months for delivery of some items - you won't find out until after you pay that the items are actually on "back order".

Ordered through Milan direct, who now do not exist and have been owned by Temple and Webster since 2015.

The product's they stock are good, website is a breeze to use. Unfortunately that's where the good experience ended. After I received the wrong colour dining table in December I was assured that they could exchange as long as I kept the table in the original packaging. Unfortunately, this turned out to be false. In fact, after emailing them on the 4th of January to set up the exchange they did not respond for over 3 weeks. All the while I am waiting with no kitchen table to eat on and a massive box in my kitchen. After 4 or 5 emails with no response and exactly 23 days later a representative contacts me and explains that they are looking into the matter. Another week and a few more emails later and I am informed that due to "the 'recent' acquisition of Milan Direct unfortunately we cannot process an exchange" Recent?? Milan Direct was bought by Temple and Webster in 2015!

As of today, 6th of February 2017 have been told that I will have to wait for the table to get picked up, they will take back to their warehouse, refund the money into my account and I will have to reorder another table from their website.. back to where I started in November. Who knows. if I'm lucky I might have my table by Christmas 2018!

This is the second time this has happened in as many deliveries. Judging from their plummeting share price I can only imagine It's not the first time! I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

Don't shop with these clowns.

Diabolical customer service. Sent the wrong item and refused to fix their mistakes. Not to be trusted and don't buy from them.

The SHIPPING COSTS are HORRENDOUS - I was quoted $175 for sending 8 side plates and cheese knife set to a Melbourne metro postcode. Yes one-hundred-and-seventy-five-dollars for 8 plates and 3 cheese knives. What a joke. Their customer service reply that they are simply just charging the ACTUAL courier cost. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Approximate cost: $100

this site offers beautiful range of bathroom, bedroom and dining items, as well as home decoration items...you can always find something nice here.. i bought recently their acacia wood sauce dishes (each of dish is ceramic in different colour) and they are simply beautifull...delivery is of reasonable timing too-within a week from order...

This is an Australian business where you have to sign up to receive special offers on homewares and furnishings for your home. They seem to have genuine sale items on unique and stylish things like art deco style coffee tables, environmental cleaning products (I purchased) that smell great, work really well and are safe around kids and pets. It takes more than two weeks after the end of a sale for items to be sent so if you are buying something as a gift leave plenty of time or you will be disappointed. All sorts of things come up for sale - laundry peg tins in retro style, outdoor rugs for your balcony or deck, indian style quilt covers and cushions. I love checking their emails which only arrive a few times a week so you are not spammed, which makes me very happy and is an added incentive to actually look at the emails when they arrive!
