I received an ottoman, one leg wouldn't screw on. Emailled them and they said they couldn't replace just one part so they sent me a whole new ottoman and told me to either keep or discard the first one. I think their service was brilliant. No complaints

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!! All of my items were delayed and took more than 2 months to arrive. The second time I ordered they sent me the wrong item! Trying to contact them to get it resolved and they have disconnected the phone line... only option is chatting with people on the live chat. After ensure my rug would be here as quickly as possible I get an email 1 day later sayings it’s out of stock and won’t be shipped for another month! Lies along lies! No one from the company willing to help or explain what’s happened. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I saw Temple and Webster and a wonderful table and chair set on sale, so I pre-ordered the item in early December. The expected delivery was by the 23rd December, and i thought that was quite quick and got rather excited for such a fast delivery - it was anything but. The 23rd rolled around, and still nothing. It wasn't until a few days after Christmas where I received an email detailing that the order had been delayed until middle of January. There was no offer for the option to refund the item, or to exchange for credit instead which was very disappointing given the length delay. The 11th January rolled around, and much to my surprise only 1 table arrived. I jumped onto their website for their live chat, and third time lucky I got notified that a specialist team would be allocated to me to sort out the issue within 3 days. Guess what - 3 days later and not a peep. Again, I went back onto their website live chat and explained the situation to 2 more representatives before being handballed to someone higher up. They reassured me that the chairs would be dispatched ASAP. After several weeks of 'the chairs will be dispatched by the end of the week', it was only 2 and a half months after my initial order that the chairs arrived at my door. All in all, it was a terrible customer service experience that really should be used as an example of what not to do. Never again will I be ordering from Temple and Webster, and I highly encourage others not to either.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS WEBSITE.... Its a fraud.
1.I bought a canvas frame and its is not the way you on the website (i.e Cheap or fraud or second hand quality). They post really good pictures but the original product is totally different when you receive it.
2.Then i asked for refund and they said that they will only give me the store credit and no refund in my card (i.e again buy fraud product from them only).
3. they aske you to return the product to them and you pay the charges not them.
4. the the end of the day you lose and they win!!!

Temple and Webster site advertises free refunds, however after trying to refund an item and paying the return delivery fee, I got a store credit instead of a refund to credit card. After contacting customer service I was told since I haven't purchased extra protection at the time of buying, they can't refund. Very misleading and I won't be buying from them any more.

The website looks good and they have a good range of products. But unfortunately, that is where this part of my review takes a turn.

The concept of this online store based on my experience is that this company advertises goods in their name, but no stock is held by them. They rely on other suppliers to fulfil the orders.

This is all good based on an open and structured communications with all their suppliers and unfortunately in my case this has proven to be well under par in comparison to other online retailers.

The supply chain from sale of goods to delivery of goods must be traceable from point of sale but unfortunately, we do not know where our goods are and getting assistance from this company’s online portal is nothing short of frustrating.

In our case this company or their supplier has utilized the services of Australia Post who clearly during this pandemic is incapable of delivering the goods on time. We ordered our goods on Wednesday the 26th of August and to date we have not received anything from their suppliers’ warehouse which is less than 30 mins drive from our address. Australia Post has advised that this can take up to 8 business days.

A request to utilize our own transport company to collect which would have cost us under $30.00 was denied and instead they charged us over $20.00 to ship the goods to us with a service which is struggling to cope. We run a business shipping goods around Australia and if our goods were delayed to this extent, we would certainly lose our customers.

Good businesses have to be on top of their game to survive in this climate which includes utilizing reliable suppliers including transport companies. My wife and I have made it a rule to question any online supplier about the transport they use and if they use Australia Post, we will give them a wide berth.

Bought cushions (not cheap) 2 weeks ago. Said they were posted and would arrive 3 days later. Did not arrive so I called the transport company. They said they went to pick them up and they weren’t there.

Tried to call Temple and Webster but unable too. Spoke to someone on Monday through online chat and was advised I’d get a response 1-2 days later. No response so conversed through the online chat again on Wednesday and spoke to another person. They reassured me I’d be notified the next day. I still haven’t heard so tomorrow I’ll be chasing them down again.

The worst service I have ever experienced and will never buy from them again.

Tomorrow will be asking for a refund, but only wish I’d seen these reviews before purchasing with them in the first place.

$179 for a lamp shade plus globe plus post - took over a week fine due to current issues in Vic- put together card would be about $20 max at ikea or bunnings very poor quality very disappointed

The company will offer you $20 off your first order and then $25 off your delivery you can only choose 1 of them . You can not pick up the order at all you HAVE to pay the $99 for delivery . Even if the order says they have 5 I stock they will tell you , we have the timber but we have to wait for the bouts and parts to come from overseas. I placed my order for my sons birthday gift on 22nd July and his birthday is on the 2nd aug now I’m being told it will be delivered on the 11th aug . I purchased this desk ONLY because they said they have it in stock!!!! Don’t purchase from this company and DONT try and get help via their online customer services centre they are robots that continue to say the same thing and offer no help at all

I seriously cannot overstate how bad my experience with Temple and Webster was!

* I purchased 4 chairs and they sent me 2... ok so one mistake like this i can understand but it didn't stop there...
* I contacted them to ask them to send my remaining 2 chairs, which they advised that they would... however when I finally received the chairs i opened the box to find only 1 chair!
* I contacted them again back to ask them to please send out the final chair... a few days later i received an email to say the item was on back order!!
* Nearly two weeks later they finally notified me that they would send out the final chair… however when i finally received it…. It was the wrong colour!!!
* I contacted them again to get my correct coloured chair which they advised that they would arrange
* However, a few days later they told me there was no stock left and they had discontinued the colour!!!
* Finally they agreed to refund me for which I was grateful and I assumed that was the end of the matter…. however 2 weeks later they asked me to source boxes and print labels to send back the chairs
* I advised that I didn’t have access to boxes or the ability to print the labels but offered that they were welcome to come pick up the chairs.
* Finally...to top it all off... they sent me an invoice to repay for the mismatched chairs!!

I can understand a business making one or two mistakes, that’s life and people make mistakes, but I have never had an experience or service that was this bad!
