I'm on a plan. Phone was delivered within 3 days. Have never had a problem with them. Receive reward points just for using it which allows me to fly free. The only thing I dont like about it is nothing is activated on it! For each service you need to activate whether its sms, mms, video call, email, internet ect... These functions should already be activated. It would be easier 2 deactivate the features I dont wish to use.

Calls can be expensive. Have asked three times to have service disconnected and still it has not been done. Make sure that your plan provides what it is supposed to - check bills

I organized a mobile on a cap plan with Virgin mobile in the Swanston street store. The phone took 4 weeks to be connected and once connected the service regularly cuts out. Three months on, approximately 90 calls later and after the constant reassurance that the phone will function after I switch it off and then back on, there has been no improvement. The credits that were organized both in store and by the 'customer service' team have not been applied. I have left the matter with the ombudsman. I want nothing to do with virgin mobile. This is the worst service I have experienced during my time as a human being on this planet.

Approximate cost: $So far approx $45 and far too many hours!

The time that I was with virgin is numbered. At that time, the reason I choose them was because their plan was cheap and their phone is nice. However, after my husband came back from overseas, I found myself wrong. Because I often called him with this number, I thought it was cheap. Because there is no one to tell us what is the exactly cost of this plan.

I was an Optus customers for over 10 years and finally got sick of the poor service and poor value for money. On researching the net the company that suited my needs best was virgin. It was a very smooth transition and I have not looked back. I now have an extra $20 a month to spend.

Approximate cost: $25

After purchasing a phone and receiving 1 month free credit I attempted to get Direct Debit and had to ring 4 times to finally recieve a form to accomplich this task. Most times I called I was put on hold for 10+ minutes. Plan is also very expensive.
