I ordered FRESH Australian Barramundi for Easter. First delivery they sent me frozen imported Barramundi. They redelivered it, this time they sent me frozen Basa fillets! They redelivered it, this time they sent me OFF Australian Barramundi fillets! They redelivered it, this time they sent me frozen imported Barramundi fillets. They redelivered it, on the Thursday night before Good Friday at 8.50pm, this time it was thawed out from frozen imported Barramundi. So after 5 delivery attempts I gave up, I paid $64 for 2kg of FRESH Australian Barramundi fillets. Basa fillets are $7kg, frozen imported Barramundi is $17kg, all the redelivery expense & time etc. all they had to do was send me the fresh barra I paid $32kg for, but they could not get it right. The head office were great & tried to resolve the problem. I feel the problem lies with the store at Hallet Cove, they never picked the order to deliver it properly, plus the delivery vans are meant to be refrigerated, but the frozen fish was defrosted on several occasions that they delivered to me. Plus all the dairy items I had in the original delivery were warm, not cool or almost cold, but actually warm! Will not use on-line to purchase anything cold ever again. Will use them to have big bulky & heavy dry items delivered though.

Approximate cost: $372

Its not that great shopping online. Alot of the food when deliverd is missing, or not the right stock. Also the expiry date is close to expiring in a week or so.
They should bring back the free delivery to make it worth it in a way.

I have used this service once and would possibly use it again (though I'd try their competitors first to have a good comparison). In relation to value - I think you are likely to save money by pushing a trolley through the supermarket instead. The convenience of home delivery however may be too tempting to resist!

Pros: Convenience! Online ordering for general grocery items, especially bulky items (toilet paper) and heavy items (tinned foods, pet food), pantry items, cleaning products etc saves the hassle of being in a supermarket for a long period of time. Let's face it, most of us buy the same stock essentials each time - with online ordering, you can have a previously saved shopping list ready to go whenever you want to place an order.

Cons: Less items to choose from overall (eg. I couldn't buy the tea bags that I like), the "specials" in the letterbox catalogues are different to the "online specials", if you're even slightly fussy about the quality of your fruit and vegetables - you could be disappointed.

I was not at all happy with the quality of the selected fruit and vegetables that were chosen for my order. My complaint to their customer service team was dealt with efficiently though, and I received a credit for the items that I felt were below expectations.

In future, I would only order groceries that I use as my standard essential pantry items. I'd still choose to shop for fruit and vegetables myself (as well as meat, frozen foods, dairy etc) as I am very particular about the freshness of these types of items.

I have only used this service once and found it not to be worth it. The delivery was late and the prices of the stock where more expensive then purchasing in store then you pay delivery ontop.

Approximate cost: $100.00

I think this is the handiest idea ever! You have to pay a fee for delivery, and this varies depending what delivery window you choose. I did this for a few months when I was recovering from surgery and it was great. Delivery staff are friendly and efficient, and you are given a list to mark off your shopping with. All items were delivered with each order I made, and no follow up was needed. Highly recommended!

I did not buy anything but I love the idea that I can do my shopping from the comfort of my own home and have it delivered to me. It would make life alot easier that the hussle and bussle of the supermarket of finding a car park at the shopping centre

I have used this service many times and am always pleased with the results. It is so convenient to shop from your couch with delivery the very next day or later in the week, whatever you prefer. Delivery fees do apply but start at a very reasonable $5. You have an option to replace the item with a similar product if it is out of stock or receive a credit to your account. You are able to pay online immediately or alternatively pay by eftpos on delivery. I have bought all manner of items from Woolworths online from general groceries, frozen prawns, liquor, nappies, you name it and have found it to be very easy. On one occassion I purchased nappies at a special price that was not offered in their supermarkets that week but at their Big W stores.
