FANTASTIC!...Highly recommend for a Nice Saturday or Sunday Lunch,beautiful view of the Yarra and folks strolling by...Lunch for two..My wife had Fish and scallops with salsa ...PERFECT..I had a Pepper Calamari as a Entree..PERFECTION!..followed by Big Beautiful Fillet Steak..cooked to my liking with pepper sauce,and Potato Mash (to die for)...and "bubba" carrots...both of us had the 2 glasses of Cab/Sav.....The SERVICE was A+...we felt special,because,of the attention we received...certainly will return...and if the Evening Menu is like this,then this place will be quickly a FAVOURITE for the Locals and Tourists....Soooo!...for a Special Place,to take family and Friends...I certainly say" YOU CANNOT GO WRONG"..

AT LONG LAST!..We now have a, "SCHNITZ"RESTAURANT IN BRUNSWICK,VIC...Two of us wandered in,today for lunch,met at the door,by a very friendly Lady,who gave us a Great Welcome..Both of us had "WRAPS"..(Small Combo/and an "Aussie Aussie, Aussie"...TASTED WONDERFUL,..STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL,FOOD 100%,CLEAN PREMISES..VALUE EXCELLENT..I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ALL..MENU IS WIDE,WITH ANY "SCHNITZEL" DISH You would require...ALL I CAN SAY,>>>..WELCOME TO BRUNSWICK

Xmas Lunch 2013!...As I have been on the Tramcar Restaurant numerous times,inc. three times at Xmas..This year was a let down..the food was "too much"..We ordered the Turkey it came out warm,it was made up of FOUR HUGE SLICES OF "The Bird",so big in fact,it overhung the plate,hiding whatever,the soggy vegetables were underneath,the ham filling (unmentionable here!)...it was a let down,and embaressing ,as we had guests involving the Tourist Industry from NZ with us..HOWEVER,the Young Ladies who served us were just fantastic,happy,polite,they were great!...(ATTN. Mr. Opie..Tramcar No. we were on was No.6)....Wewill go back,but not for awhile,perhaps we were just unfortunate we were on this tram (3 of them that day).....I SINCERELY HOPE THE ,"CHEF" is given a haul over the coals on his food presentation...Great Day!..spoilt by Cafeteria style Piecart Food....All in all...NOT A HAPPY CHRISTMAS DAY!....Whoever is in charge should,do a (very) quick review of this "Chef on Tramcar 6 Christmas Day 2013"...before he hits the tracks again!!..It certainly was not worth the money!...I would say,food value only $23.00

I'm addicted to "Strawbellini"..its a beautiful strawberry sparkling wine..and Rebello Wines are the makers...I recently ordered on-line for 1doz...and within four hours it was delivered!..The service is amazing,and they have quite a range of other wines available..Hey!..check them out!..IF YOU DON"t YOUR MISSING OUT ON A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE...Say "Hi' to Fiona...she will sort you out on types of wine,delivery,..a most helpful and gracious lady HIGHLY RECOMMEND 100%..

Oh Dear Me!..I have frequented this place before,and found it alright..HOWEVER,It has dropped in standard,I ordered two meals,both flathead /salad/egg/and chips..both my wife and I found fish over cooked,service was not good,as food was left on pass,and warm when received,I had to visit three tables to find a full salt container,and a REMINDER,when ordering your meal,make sure they UNDERSTAND what you want...VERY DISAPPOINTING!

The Snow Train to Gippsland,proved to be interesting to say the least!...I have been on Steamrail Tours before and they were very enjoyable,this tour on 22nd June let the team down somewhat,I found that overall it was GOOD,however,I feel as if the standard has dropped,mainly having alcohol being served..(YES, I DO DRINK!)...I understand part of this trip was to a winery,and there were guests onboard serving "tastings" to passengers..HOWEVER,that was not the problem!..Main problem was the return trip,with the BAR OPEN serving people who were intoxicated,who upset other guests.........I think that these trips are great..and as the majority of these are family orientated..I think that serving alcohol should be banned...unless its a PRIVATE FUNCTION!....Sorry Steamrail,you need to to police who is buying alcohol if you intend keep doing this on your SnowTrain Trips.
