Wotif is the only way I book accommodation now. Wherever I'm headed, guaranteed I can find some bargain, high class accommodation, and literally just before rushing to the airport. There hasn't been a single hiccup and really, why pay full price when you can get the same thing so much cheaper?
The Dome is so average from a cafe perspective. Considering it's a coffee shop, some of the worst (and coldest!) coffees I've had in my life have been from Dome and don't even bother with the cheesecakes they have on offer - they taste like plastic! Very disappointing and totally not worth the calories.

Considering this place is run by backpackers, the food is always high quality, the prices haven't changed in donkey's and it's open 24 hours - perfect for when you're famished after a long day at work or a hard night on the town. Fast Eddy's is a regular haunt for my mates and I and with good reason.

The best thing about Jesters is that they regularly change their "Pie of the Month" so even if you're a regular (which I have been known to be), there's always something new and different to try.

Zamels are great. Irrespective of the occasion or the person I'm buying for, I can usually always find something suitable, the variety is so diverse. The staff have great product knowledge and aren't afraid to offer suggestions and advice.
Miss Maud's has been around forever, and for good reason. If you're in the market for a good buffet dinner, they are definitely the place to go. The restaurant is usually always full and is a great place to celebrate a birthday. The Princess Cake is a must if you're staying around for coffee, but the servings are huge, so share with a friend!
Bras N Things is the first place I go when I'm looking to update my underwear. They stock a fantastically wide range of products - from lingerie to sleepwear to Hen's Night invitations and sexy costumes to lingerie wash bags. My only gripe is that lingerie for bigger busted women is hard to come by and on the pricey side when you do find it. If you're a standard sized woman (10/12/14B, C or D), you'll be well catered for.

Valentino's is a real Northbridge staple, and for good reason. If you're wanting to take someone out for a bit of a special and slightly more upscale meal, this is definitely the place. The risotto is sensational!

I've been to Arirang a few times now and I just adore the way you're free to cook food to your taste over hot coals in the middle of the table! It's a great talking point. Even for those nights you want someone else to do the cooking, the menu and value of Arirang is fantastic. I highly recommend their noodles!

Mustang is a great way to start off a big night out. The music is always interesting, and the bar staff chilled, and the fact it gets so busy on a weekend that you can barely move is testament to its popularity. Highly recommended!
