Went during the new year break when BlueBonnet took over the premises and had the Pork Burger on a brioche bun. Mine had great flavour with delicious sauces. My companion had the kurobuta pork shoulder which she hardly touched. Appeared to be quite fatty
Amazing desserts and coffee, we have been here a number of times and have never been disappointed here. Cakes and macaroons immaculately presented, service impeccable.
A Vietnamese vermicelli home delivery service. I ordered 10 bowls, thinking it would last me and my partner 5 nights - we finished in two nights as the volumes provided are significantly less than had we ordered the same dish at a Vietnamese restaurant in Footscray or Richmond where we are full on one bowl of noodle each.
Quick feed and food was quick to arrive. Lotus chips was interesting - something a bit different to try, but a little oily. I enjoyed the Paiku Ramen (tender rib ramen). It was disappointing that they wouldn't accept the entertainment book voucher I had as I ordered it in a combo with an entrée an green tea.
Had the lunch banquet, while all the dishes were delicious the standout was the braised pork belly dish. Also accepts Entertainment book which is a bonus
Small shop, huge queues during lunch time! I found the sushi rolls quite good value 3 handrolls plus miso soup for $6.80. Quality is reasonable, but I would say the price point is the main drawcard.
Early lunch to avoid the queues, but already packed out even though we arrived before 12pm. I had the pulled pork with appleslaw - delicious and a very generous serve. coffee was great too.
Decided to check out what all the fuss was about. Busy on Saturday as usual with a few groups waiting outside the cafe for a table. Was told there would be a half hour wait. When we were seated an ordered, our food came out quicker than our coffees - very efficient indeed. We had the croque madame which unless you are a fan of ham nothing too special and the fried brioche with crème which though not good for the arteries is well done and highly recommended.
A favourite for yum cha. When we go here we always order the rice paper rolls with scallops - best value in the city, or anywhere else we have been to.
Great value pinxtos during lunchtime Monday to Friday and Sunday to Wed evenings where everything is $1. The plates are constantly being refreshed so you are getting freshly made food with a large variety on offer.
