This is a great Japanese/Korean restaurant. I would suggest more of the Korean dishes particularly the bimbimbap
this place is always busy but their hot chocolate is well worth the wait! The wait to get a table sometimes is quite long, I recommend to sit at the bar if possible - same food yet less wait
this place used to be a great neighbourhood pharmacy, until a change of hands. The pharmacist in charge is extremely rude. He is a JP and I witnessed him rebuffing someone wanting a form signed as no he won't do it, as the woman was not a paying customer.
Not impressed.
your local fruit and vegie shop, I honestly don't remember not going to this place. It's been around long before I was born. It's small, doesn't have a large variety of produce but service is very good, perfect for emergencies - like forgetting to buy some onions for dinner!
this place is your typical old school chinese restaurant. it doesn't look as thought it's been refurbished in over 40 years. the food is ok but on the greasy side. not too bad if you've got a hangover
Approximate cost: $13
two words - garlic sauce
if you don't like garlic, don't come here. chicken is always fresh and the chips are amazing
Approximate cost: $10
I come in on a weeknight, the place isn't busy. The waitress seemed very flustered and forgot our drinks for a long while. The owner of the place is busy yelling on the phone telling off what seems to be a worker for doing something wrong. A delivery driver comes into the store and the owner proceeds to yell at him for something as well.
Food was average, nothing to phone home about.
Approximate cost: $20
this newly opened cafe disappointed me as they only serve pre-prepared meals. I was hoping for a new cafe in walking distance to have brunch, but they do not serve eggs, sausages, bacon or any of your usual breakfast fare as they do not have any stove burners. I ordered a coffee from there, and it was so so. I ordered a soy coffee and the soy was not heated correctly and tasted burnt. Hopefully given a little while to settle in they'll improve
food was yum. the burgers were quite large. more expensive than what you'd expect to pay for a burger but was well worth it
Approximate cost: $18
cheap fast service - highly recommend the seaweed & tofu for an entree and their pork/prawn/mushroom dumplings - pan friend
Approximate cost: $10
