I've been twice now, but still a bit unsure of the place. They're pretty expensive ($70-75), but in both instances they spent an hour on my hair and their service was good. Problem I've had is that they haven't actually listened to what I want - they do what they think looks good, which it does at the time but this is not always practical for real life outside the hairdressing salon, so can be hard to manage hair afterwards.

I've had my tax returns done here for the past few years and always had good, prompt service. Very friendly and professional staff that keep up to date with all the tax laws and work out the best return for me.

Always fresh flowers at Simeons. Love it when my boyfriend brings home flowers from there, they last a long time and look beautiful. They also help to put special bunches together.

I've only been here once for dessert on the way home. The place was pretty empty but the service was very slack. Had a sticky date pudding that certainly wasn't amongst the best I've had. The whole place is pretty tacky - reminds me of something out of the 80's (don't think the interior has been updated since then!). I think people go there for the big serves, haven't tried the mains so I can't comment on the quality.

A very busy bakery, popular with the Jewish community. They do great quality bakery food, I especially like the bread with cheese and onions, sweets are hard to resist too! Pretty expensive though unfortunately.

Really nice restaurant, have a great variety of middle-eastern dishes. Is a decent size but pretty busy so I'd recommend calling ahead to make a booking.

A very good dentist, only does work necessary (doesn't try to push 'cosmetic' dentistry). Often find myself waiting a while, but his quality is worth it. Always out of pocket (with private health cover) but probably the same at any dentist.

They have serviced my partners car for a few years and I have started taking mine there as a result. Prices are reasonable and they only do what's necessary.

I take my cat here for his checkups and also to be desexed and microchipped. They are friendly and good with my cat who's always scared anywhere new. They also took care of a sick possum I found without charging for it.

This medical practice has a number of doctors, I usually see Renata, but most of the doctors there seem quite young. The waiting time is usually not too long. There's a nurse in the centre and pathology upstairs which is convenient.
