I wasn't expecting much for $15, but what I got was a very decent neck & shoulder massage that got rid of my headache!
Approximate cost: $15
This business is owned by Kellie, an energetic mum who runs a home based beauty salon where she provides all the standard beauty services including waxing, nails and makeup. Her hours are flexible, she will work around you and her prices are very reasonable. Best of all, she is thorough - she won't leave one hair behind! Highly recommended.
The lovely lady who runs Etain is young, but she is an excellent hairdresser. There are also beauty, skin and makeup services within this salon but I've only ever had my hair done here. My hair was cut exactly as I asked (rare!), the full head of colour I had put in is vibrant, rich and has stayed in! A professional service, I'm definitely going back.
Nancy is an experienced hairdresser who runs a home based salon. She has the full setup (no kitchen sinks here!) - I have a full colour, wash and blow wave for around $125 and I have really long hair. The colour she uses stays in for ages, so I don't need maintenance that often - plus, she's a lovely, lovely person. I highly recommend Nancy for your hair! PS she only works weekdays.
Nutan runs a professional home based salon, where she performs the best threading I've ever experienced, and also provides a painfree waxing experience. Her prices are very reasonable (eg $35 for eyebrow & lip thread + arm wax).
I can't say I'm a big fan of Chinese food, but this place is pretty good value. The serving sizes are very good for the price and the food is of a good standard too. I've only had takeaway from here and have been happy every time.
My husband and I took our car here to be fixed. The job was done well, the staff are trustworthy, and the prices were reasonable. Great to see friendly, fair service still exists!
This place is awesome. It's a cafe/bar, right on the beach. Go for a swim, then come back here for a beer and a snack/lunch. I haven't had the food yet, but everything I saw brought out looked amazing (fresh turkish bread sandwiches, fried calamari...). They have started brewing their own beer in true Fremantle style, which you can try for about $10 a pint. They have a reasonable selection of wines and also do coffee. Great for public holidays and weekends - I could spend all day here.
This cafe has nostalgic value for me, as I've been going here every year or so for a while now. An old style cafe with private booths (great for a good conversation). The selection of drinks, cold and hot, is impressive and they regularly have muffin/cake deals on.
I love this place. Definitely a must to book ahead, but the food is fantastic (a modern Australian selection) as are the cakes. Really good value for what you get. The range and prices are very good and the service is polite.
