The decorations in this place are fantastic, you feel as if you could be in the Philippines with lots of stuffed monkeys and flashing fairy lights. There's a buffet available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and it's displayed in a cute hut within the restaurant, and a beach-style bar serving $10 cocktails (which were good for the price). All other drinks were well priced too. Water bottles were served to the table but I had to take them to the bar to be re-filled, although the staff could have easily done this for us as they were certainly not busy.

The buffet is around $30 and you pretty much get what you pay for - the salads and desserts were great but the meat dishes were made with very low quality cuts and were full of gristle. No greeting or introduction was given when we arrived so we were left wondering what to do next, although I was quite sure that a-la-carte was available as I saw others ordering additional dishes later on in the night. The service was friendly when I went up to the bar to ask for things, but it was not forthcoming although there seemed to be enough waitstaff to serve the few people in the restaurant.

Karaoke gears up around 8:30 (the perfect time). There's a great song selection here. I submitted my song at the beginning of the set but was still not called at 10:00pm. I asked the DJ who didn't seem to care, and it was still another half hour before I was called. In the meantime, the same few Filipino girls had been chosen to sing multiple times. I could see others in the restaurant who appeared to feel the same about not getting their songs played. When my turn finally arrived, the lyrics were terribly out of sync with the song. The speakers are facing toward the audience so on stage, there is no audio feedback for the singer.

This had so much potential to be a good night, but was ruined by the poor service. It is so unfortunate that I will not be a regular at this restaurant, as I had fully intended to be if treated like I was welcome there.

The quality of the food is excellent! The only problem is that if you want to be full, you have to spend a small fortune. Go somewhere else for an appetiser first. I would highly recommend the venison sausage, it's delicious. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the lighting is dim and romantic. It can get very noisy in there though, it's hard to have a conversation when it's busy.

The milkshakes here are the BEST. They are big, filling, well priced and yummy! I can't comment on the food unfortunately, but I think about these milkshakes all the time!

Great service and great food. I even remember liking this food as a kid! The atmosphere is casual and simple, good for family dining. The usual Thai favourites are featured and done well.

The variety in the menu is like nothing I've seen before (and I had a lot of trouble choosing because of it). I had a red curry which was perfect. The views across the bay, especially when the sun is going down, are breathtaking. A great place for a casual, good quality, well priced meal. Has a formal yet relaxed holiday feel to it.

This seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it venue. The atmosphere is very casual - plastic chairs are set on a sandy area lined with crude BBQs where fresh seafood is cooked and literally tossed at you. The service is friendly but the 'special touches' such as signs featuring swear words and toilets with plants growing from them were not exactly to my taste! The prices are what I would expect for an indoors location. However, everyone raves about the seafood and I admit that it is good, so it's worth a try if you like seafood.

I went here twice whilst on holiday, and had the scallop pasta each time because it was so good! Others with me said the steak and chicken dishes were very tasty as well. The prices are reasonable and service is attentive and helpful.

Good sized pub meals at very reasonable prices. I had the fish and chips - not too greasy with plenty of chips and salad. The seafood and roast buffets are popular.

Bluewater Grill is perfect for that special occasion. The views are awesome if you sit outside and the food is cooked and presented to perfection. Like any fine dining restaurant, meals are pricey and portion sizes are small - but for the view and ambience it is worth it.

The food and service here are excellent! The wine selection is thorough, the waitpeople are attentive and knowledgeable, and the pizzas and pastas are fresh and cooked to perfection. Definitely give this place a try! They do not do BYO, you don't need to book if there's less than 8 people but you might need to wait if you go during peak times (if going on a Saturday I'd recommend getting there by 6:30).
