This review is for Chutney Mary's, Subiaco WA

I love the food here! All the curries are cooked perfectly, and the raita especially was extremely tasty. The service was friendly and the location is in the heart of buzzing Subiaco so there are plenty of places to go for a drink afterwards.

This review is for Doo Ri Restaurant Korean BBQ, Strathfield NSW

If only I lived in NSW, I would come here all the time. I visited with a group of 8 others and even though we hadn't booked the staff were extremely accommodating. The food was delicious and extremely well priced - the best Korean I have ever had. My only problem was that a lot of the menu was in Korean only, and the young waiter had limited English - but this served to make the night more entertaining!

I stayed here with a friend in a twin room in early 2007. I believe it has since been renovated, but even back then I found the rooms to be comfortable (not spacious, but good for the price). The location by the railway is convenient for exploring Sydney (about a 20 minute train ride into the city). The owner was pleasant and always ready to assist us with directions and advice. There's a kitchen for communal use but we didn't use it, instead we preferred to eat at one of the many nearby (and cheap) restaurants, offering food from all parts of the world. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it as good budget accommodation.

This review is for RAC Car Insurance, Perth WA

These guys are excellent. I have comprehensive insurance with them and it's at a reasonable cost. I've been with a few car insurers over the years, but every time I have had to make a claim (twice, one my fault, once not my fault) the staff have been helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to serve my needs. I received a cheque for the writeoff of my car within just a couple of weeks of making a claim. I'll never be insured with anyone else!

This review is for Bang Beauty Cannington, Cannington WA

I went here for waxing a couple of times and found the service to be decent. All the therapists are very young but seem to know what they are doing. There wasn't any music on, so I could hear everyone else's conversations outside, so that would be something I would fix. Bang Beauty have a rewards programme which means that after a certain amount of services you can get waxing for free, which is a bonus.

This review is for Revive Skin Emporium, Mount Hawthorn WA

I received a gift voucher for a massage from friends. This place provides true pampering - the rooms, music, people, bath robes - everything is luxury. I even got a fruit salad and 'relaxing' time afterwards just to make sure I felt fully refreshed. I was very impressed with every aspect of my visit. An excellent present for anyone you love.

This review is for The Perth Mint, East Perth WA

The tour is very interesting, and I think it is essential for kids to have an understanding of Australian history, the history of money and to see how it is made - and this tour gives you all of that. Some very interesting facts about coin making are made and the gold pouring demonstration is fascinating.

This review is for Scoot Freo, Fremantle WA

verified email - 03 Nov 2009

At Scoot Freo you can hire a scooter or scoot car (like a little buggy, seating 2 people) and drive around freo at 40km/hour, on the roads! Good way to enjoy the coastline. You need a license to drive but if you have kids you can take them in a scoot car.

This review is for Wet 'n' Wild, Kalamunda WA

verified email - 03 Nov 2009

Kalamunda Wet 'n' Wild has been around since I can remember. Unfortunately the slides are getting quite old, and while it's great that the water is heated, the chlorine is very strong and is almost suffocating inside the tube slides. The open slides are better, especially the four-in-a-row slide where kids can race against their friends. The main pool is very large and features two diving boards, so there's plenty of space to swim.

This review is for Supa Golf (Swan Valley Oasis), Henley Brook WA

verified email - 03 Nov 2009

For people who are not good at sports (like me) or even those who are talented but want to have some fun, Supa Golf is for you! You have to admit, the idea of hitting around giant balls with giant clubs is appealing. The grounds are beautiful with palm trees everywhere, and the resort is quite decent too.
