Whilst the hose connector is very sturdy and better quality than many on the market, the trigger gun perished and cracked badly within only a year. I know the paperwork mentions keeping out of the sun, however, my much, much cheaper trigger guns have been in direct sunlight for several years longer and have not done this.

I have been here twice since it reopened. The service is excellent but the meals are quite pricey and nothing to rave about. The first time I had a risotto, which I found quite bland and last time I went for the safety of the chicken parma, however, there was very little sauce on it, leaving it quite dry. Standard of meals is certainly not what it was several years ago.

Mix of Chinese and Western food. Good standard Chinese food - have tried Sweet & Sour Chicken, Honey Chicken and Mongolian Beef, all served with a side of fried rice. They use breast chicken, which many places do not, and the beef was tender. Will try some of the Western dishes soon. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I had vertical blinds installed when I built 4-5yrs ago and was very impressed with the quality and price. They were a little slow in getting the job done but the outcome was worthwhile. I had no problem with going into the store to view all the fabric and colour options as I am able to visualise how things will look and they looked exactly as I had expected.

We had roller shutters fitted to our bedroom windows a couple of years ago to keep out the barking of neighbourhood dogs. Professional service and quality product and when one of the battery packs failed prematurely, they replaced it without hesitation.

I had polished jarrah flooring installed by these guys when I built about 4-5yrs ago. Very professional and did an absolutely beautiful job. They were recommended to me by word of mouth and I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking for timber flooring. They also do sanding, polishing and restoration of existing timber flooring.

Have been here three times since this restaurant changed to Taco Bill from La Casa Mexicana. They still offer 1/2 price meals Mon-Wed as long as you're seated by 8pm. My favourite is the Beef Enchilada Neuvos Mexicos, which is quite a large meal including a taco, enchilada stack with egg on top as well as mexican rice and frijoles. So far, the standard of the meals and service has been very consistent. Staff are friendly, switched on and efficient. At half price, I think this place is fantastic value and one of the few restaurants actually open on a Mon or Tue night in Ballarat for dinner. Very easy parking too being near Safeway. Nice frozen Margaritas, if a little too pricey.

Very disappointed. Had been really looking forward to going here based on the ravings of several people I know, especially about the Kievs. What a let down! They were way overcooked - crumbs to the point of being almost black in parts on the outside and the chicken was dry and had no juiciness left on the inside. Chose the vegetable & chips side option and for some reason there was also a big pile of steamed rice on the plate, which just seems weird and out of place. There's already chips, so why would you want more carbs in the form of rice? The vegetables were OK, nothing special and the chips were undercooked and not crunchy on the outside as they should be. My partner made the mistake of telling the waiters what he thought when they asked, which resulted in the owner coming out. Initially he was apologetic and was offering a replacement meal or complimentary desert, but we had already eaten the meals and really just wanted to leave the experience behind. When my partner declined another dish the owner tried to turn things around and blame my partner. A. For not refusing to eat the dish in the first place. Well, we had already waited about 45min+ and were really hungry and hate complaining, so we just ate. And B. That my partner didn't really know what he was talking about as these Kievs have a 'special' crumb coating, not like you buy in the supermarket, and basically implied my partner was an idiot. When my partner tried to highlight the fact that the chicken itself was all dried out and had NO moisture content left in it, he was basically talked over and belittled. The owner then patted me on the shoulder and said to my partner 'Well, she likes it, she's eaten every last bit' and walked off. Well, NO, I did not like it. It was clearly overcooked and the cook should never have sent it out to our table in the first place. I ate it as I had already waited so long for it that I had no desire to go through the trouble of complaining and then have to wait all over again for a replacement. Also, I seriously don't appreciate being patted on the shoulder and spoken about in such a patronising manner. This experience only confirms my reluctance to EVER complain about a meal. Even though they kept saying they appreciate people telling them the truth, the reality is they make the situation so incredibly uncomfortable that I don't think they really do want to know at all. I will stick to my policy of simply never going back and making damned sure I share my experience far and wide. Needless to say, we will not return and I have no idea what others are so impressed with about this place, as even if the Kiev had been cooked correctly, the meal still would have been mediocre and the place is overpriced anyway.

Great value weekday specials i.e. $11 parmas Thursdays. Good variety of different parmas to choose from and a fairly comprehensive regular price menu covering standard pub-type fare such as steaks, seafood etc. Self-serve all-you-can-eat buffet has an extensive and alternating selection of hot sides (roast pumpkin, scalloped potatoes, cauliflower cheese) and salads. Service is consistently polite and efficient. Food quality can fluctuate in consistency but was all good this time. If you choose from the specials menu you really can't go wrong as it is fantastic value.

At the movie we saw yesterday, it sounded like only the front centre speaker was set up. Definitely no surround sound. Picture not sharply focussed. No wonder numbers continue to drop when movie-goers can often get a better theatre experience in their own homes. We hadn't been for quite a while as the last time the sound and picture quality were also poor. Will not bother again as we get better sound and picture at home, also without the coughing, plastic bag rustling etc.
