During our Hahndorf visit we had dessert at Assiette Cafe. I think it is run by the same management as The Stables next next. Thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and apple strudel that was served. Fairly busy atmosphere here but as it was a long weekend that is to be expected. As we were leaving saw a sign which said there was a beer garden available but didn't see it.

Had a light lunch here which was very well priced. It was a long weekend and as usual Hahndorf was packed. We sat out in the rear garden with pretty floral covers that could be wiped down on the tables. The garden has may elves and pottery decorations in it and it was quiet and peaceful away from the busy street. The scrambled eggs and bacon were great and cost under $15.00. A nice find.

The Buckingham Arms Hotel has bars and eating areas but it is mainly known for its smorgasbord. At the moment it has a winter seniors special at 21.00 which is great value for lunch. Although the room is somewhat dated in decor I enjoyed my meal. The meals are well cooked and something for everybody. Especially the desserts. I like having a little of this and a little of that. A good spot for a winter's lunch

This is a casual cafe next door to the Feathers Hotel. There is parking available at the rear. This cafe has burgers which are great for around !8.00 and also schnitzels for less than 20.00. The coffee is good and the feel here is relaxing. There a full menu available and also takeaway provided for.

This hotel's dining room is a very formal georgian style room which is wonderful for a special occasion. The white table cloths and silver service settings are impressive. The food is good. as is the service, although priced at restaurant prices. There are car parks at the rear of the hotel. The menu covers all tastes too. A special place for a special occasion

This hotel has many areas to enjoy. The bars, the beer garden with heating and cooling when appropriate, and a lovely bistro area. Well polished wood tables which are well set and a good menu to enjoy. I enjoyed the steak and the service was friendly and good. There is a car park at the rear and overall the hotel is very well presented.

I have obtained a quote from this firm for my difficult painting job. A time was made to view the work and the person arrived right on time. A very competitive quote was made and this quote provided a different option of performing the work. I like this idea and at this stage think I will be having the work done by this firm. This firm has also been recommended to me by a friend who has used them.

The work has now been done and I am extremely pleased with the workmanship and care that was taken. Arrived on time and were able to complete this job as they anticipated without using elevating platforms. This made the cost extremely reasonable

Need some painting done on my house and obtained a quote from Ian MacInnes. Arranged a time for an inspection and Ian arrived on time to view the job. A few days later a written quote arrived which is more than I wish to pay so will not be continuing with this firm. However, this is a difficult job with extra equipment needed to be hired so this does have to be taken into account. In other circumstances the quote would be less.

When out and about and needing lunch I bought a sausage roll and a coffee here. Was able to sit inside to eat and drink and was very pleased that was well priced. Lots of other goodies to choose from too. Lovely cakes and slices for when you are feeling indulgent. This shop is now on my lunch stop list

This review is for Port River Sailing Club, Largs North SA

I am a member of this dinghy sailing club and have been for many years. The races are conducted in the Port River which provides good safety with banks on the side of the water. Rescue boats also patrol the races. A number of classes are sailed and sail training is available on Saturday mornings during the season. The fees are reasonable and the members friendly and helpful. The clubrooms are being refreshed this off season too. If you would like to try sailing do come and see us when the sailing season begins.
