Excellent Fish and Chip Shop (and Chicken & Salad)

Can't find fault with any of the menu (and we have most probably tried it all). Chips are fantastic.

Great service, fresh salads, good range of drinks, easy parking, good location and they take phone orders.

Can't complain about a thing!

As far as play cafe's go this is one of the better. Not quite a wow but even when just comparing play cafe's one would be hard pressed to get a wow out of me.
Generally I can find better places to go however the kids love it and who am I to complain with that??!! P

So positives; clean, easy to get around, big (therefore don't feel cramped and claustrophobic like some others), a great separate baby/small toddler section, good slides and reasonable food and coffee.

downers; a tad expensive, and as with most of them; pretty noisy/echo'y when packed full of kids. AND; be prepared for the well stocked toy/gift shop in the front entrance. There is no way it can be avoided and I'm not a fan!!

Have been there a couple of times....once for a party and also some free play time when the weather has been attrocious.

All in all bearable for parents. Pleasing and exciting for the kids.

Don't forget your socks!

Skaterz is great to take the kids to where they can do their thing and expend some energy.

My girls are learning to skate and it is a great place to do so.

There is heaps of skates and roller blades to hire and they also hire protective equipment if you want/need it.

Latest music and disco lights to keep the kids entertained too.

To be honest it seems a little pricey but I don't have much to compare it to. On Fridays during the term it is half price at a certain time and I know they have other special deals from time to time.
Best to check out their website for skate session times and prices as they have lessons etc scheduled so no available skate time.

Parking can be tricky

We recently went to skyhigh for kids weeks activities in teh school holidays.
So my review is of the location, cafe & service really not skyhigh as a high end function venue.

The setting is amazing! The kids absolutely loved it. Amazing gardens and pieces of history to wander through.
Parking was easy and it is a nice, safe, comfortable place to take the kids.

Coffee at the cafe was good and also the foccacia's we had for lunch.
Service was ok.....pretty slow in the cafe and whilst there were people around it wasn't crazy busy.
They did seem to not have enough staff on, but as there was no apology or conversation about the wait time, I don't know if it was just a bad day (people not turning up for work) or just the norm??!!

Service at the maze was ordinary. It was the main hub for the children's activities that we occuring on the day and I found the staff member to be uninterested and unhelpful which, as first time visitors, was disapointing.

All in all we had a great day, the average service cannot take away from the beauty of the place.

Well worth a visit!

Great little fish and chip shop.
Steak sandwiches with the lot are amazing and the chips are pretty good. My daughter had the fish which had a very thick batter on it....not so much to our liking but may suit others.

Easy parking, great and speedy service.
No eftpos though so make sure you have cash or, as I did, you'll have to walk across to the IGA which has an ATM.

Fantastic Pizza!!
Unfortunately I can't comment on the 'pasta & more as we haven't used it yet but the pizza is really really good.

Great Customer service. We have used phone ordering & home delivery and also ordered in store & took away.
Pretty fast delivery service.

I've just noted that they allow ordering on-line but we haven't used that service yet.

They have traditional pizza's and gourmet. We have had a range of pizzas to suit kids, adults and vegetarians and I can't pick fault with any we've had but I can say that one of the most delicious pizza's i've ever had (and I love pizza!!0 was the spicy lamb!!

All in all a great pizza shop in Warrandyte.

This review is for the pools only - I haven't used any of the other facilities.

Nothing flash or fancy just a good family pool setting.
A good size 25m lap pool which (when I have been there) always has at least one lane open for lap swimming.

The children's section suits their needs. A great space for babies/toddlers that is shallow and has a small wall to separate it from the deeper section of the kids pool.
The kids space is great with a few different areas to play in and a couple of water slides.

It is easy to move between pools if you need and there is a great outdoor grassed area with a playground.

The change rooms are clean and tidy.
Lockers available.

The coffee is great too!

I was referred here by a friend and after looking around for a little while and really appreciating the reviews I thought it was time to get on board.

It's easy to get around, was easy to sign up and I have received a few e-mails as I have started reviewing.

I recently took my 4 and 5 year old to free play time at the gym.
What a fantastic experience!!!

All of the normal gym equipment is out and available for the kids to play on. Of course there is some adaption by the children as to it's uses but that all part of their learning and fun.
There are the trampolines, rings (which most kids preferred to swing in), the big foam pit, balance beam, hoola hoops and lots of opportunity for climbing, jumping and rolling.

Sessions run on Wednesday's and Friday's from 10am - 1pm and are best suited to children from 1-6 y.o.
You can turn up at anytime and leave when you want within the session.
You can take your own snacks in which is great.

Excellent value for money at only $5per child.

Parking can be tricky.

A great bakery!!
An excellent spot backing onto the yarra and next to a playground, the bakery is a great spot for lunch and coffee.

Good Pies!! Nice and fresh cakes and good coffee.

The seating arrangements suit the environment (easy going/ laid back etc) but not great for poor weather. Tables outside can be wet/ have bird poop on occasionally but really not bad enough to deter a stop in there.

They use recycled items such a serviettes (new - you know what i mean) which makes my happy.

A really great range of hot savory items and baked goodness treats at more than reasonable prices.
