About one week old so no consistency yet to measure. If you want an early summation then this should go well. The decor of the place is bright and a few tables and seats are within the store. Chickens are within normal range, $15 a bird and chips are at this stage cooked in good oil. This is a local with not much competition. Light salads and as things get going they will increase their variety. The only bug bear I have is that two small steps at the front of the shop are tricky for old people and and near sighted people and I think with the general age of the area being aged then this and wheel chair access could have been thought of but I wish them well because the locals need something like this in the hot food trade

Went along with a voucher for 3 courses for $12.50 each. Mains are usually about $15- to 18 so this was a bargain. We got no less with a menu that was open ended that is we could ask for what and how. Rice was $2 pp extra while using a voucher. This place is delightful. Fresh food, polite service and quick and for a local, it is more than appealing. Pad Thai Mass''''' chicken so good in flavour and texture and no more than you can manage in a meal.

SO pleasant clean and offering lovely service with a good flat white to boot. Seems new and just an easy place to drop into if you get that parking spot. Wheelchair access and lovely interior colour and design and while cakes are not my fancy, I felt these looked better than the packet. Delightful experience along with my chinese just up the ramp next door

I had a flying visit here today and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a seafood special rice, $11.80 with scallops medium prawns and squid and a pleasant soft long rice without an oily or too salty flavour. Honey king Prawns was in abundant supply with insipid honey sauce separate but at $14. 30 this was a take home and did my own honey mix. Beef and Oyster Sauce was lunch time special at $7.30. Well done with no msg. This place is extemely clean, accessable by wheelchair from the street down a flat ramp and parking is good at most times it seems. I would go back and feel that while this is not your cheffy cuisine it is worthy of a lunch or quick dinner.

This place is an institution. A must for all ages; Go and view the window, so beautifully filled with treasures, of life portraying faces of dolls from all over the world. I have visited this store with no particular interest in dolls for myself but to see the artistry and imagination of those who design such faces and craft such clothes is really something. My grandmother was an artisan dress maker mainly of mens suits back in the 20's to the 40's. What she could not design with newspaper and a pair of scissors could not be told or recorded. This brought me to appreciate the workmanship of artisans of all fields of endeavour but the family line in this store continues to bring history and faces alive for those who need that sentimental piece or that historic article restored or that special gift that could leave you breathless. You won't find such a selection of beautiful character dolls anywhere like this that I know of.

At the time I was visiting this place, there was a reconstruct going on and and revamping of interiors and menus so I trust that all is finished now and doing well. I met my friend for luch on a sat and was surrounded by the noise of pokies and near the main thorough fare to the toilets. The menu was small but the food well done. The quality of the food was fresh although much given to the appetites of those who want to fill the belly rather than those who want to delight the taste buds. I found the place big cumbersome and very "CLUBBY" but trust that all is well designed for more intimate and appealing dining now

The epitomy of vision excellence beauty style grace and craftsmenship not seen for miles. This tiny town is on the map because of this store/gallery. No money could pay for such an experience and all you have to do is walk into this place and your eyes will pop out at the amazing creative designs and works. Modern works of furniture and pieces of pottery and sculpture and a cafe to boot for your solace and consideration of how to put one of these pieces into your home or someone you love. GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off the beaten track but you will not be sorry for your efforts. This little town has no equal on a beautiful day

I was so impressed with this visit. Excellence in product variety especially in woodwork. This centre is part of an historic house setting but with modern touches and the atmosphere invites you into it even in the dead of winter. Cafe is open and there is access for people in wheelchairs apart from the main front entrance. I really enjoyed the look and the pottery gave me a sense that this is a very unique and professional gallery rather than a craft centre. Lots of info for courses and well marketed and kept by knowledgeable persons. A BIG TICK FOR THIS on your visit to down that way

HELD THE SECOND SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH BAR JAN AND INCLEMENT WEATHER- i JUST LOVE THIS PLACE. I DO THE TRAVEL DOWN AND PUT UP WITH LITTLE PARKING JUST TO SEE THE NEW STALLS AND SOME OLD FRIENDS SITTING ON THEIR SEATS WAITING TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE NEW ORCHIDS OR HOW THE WEATHER HAS AFFECTED THE GARDEN PRODUCE OR THE SPICY HOT FOODS ON THE STICK OR THE LADY WHO HAS SPENT THE NIGHT UP DOING THE BAKING OF HER BREAD SCONES OR SPECIAL POUND CAKES. I LOVE THE CRAFT PIECES THAT YOU CANNOT FIND IN SHOPS FOR THAT SPECIAL VERY PERSONAL GIFT. IN THE MAIN, THIS IS FOR PRODUCE. FARMERS MARKETS ARE ALSO HELD AT ANOTHER VENUE ON SUNDAYS IN BOWRAL BUT THIS ONE KEEPS ME COMING BACK ON SATURDAY MORNINGS AND THE FRESH VEG IS MY PICK BECAUSE YOU CAN SMELL THE EARTH THAT THEY JUST CAME OUT OF. A PICTURE AND A STORY YOU WILL FIND AT THIS PLACE AND GO AWAY READY TO APPRECIATE FOOD LIKE NO OTHER. I WOULD SAY THAT SOME THINGS ARE A BIT PRICEY SOMETIMES BUT REALITY REIGNS- NOT FOR SECOND HAND STUFF AS THIS IS WELL SATISFIED BY MITTAGONG MARKETS

Again the quality of this family business is in line with many others in the area. I appreciate the quick efficient service for take away. The price is good for that occassion when you do not want to spend big money. The sit down service is prompt and pleasant and many meet here for their lunches. I cannot say the honey king prawns which are not on the normal menu are great. The batter is too heavy in my opinion. The special fried rice is lacking some flavoursome and variety of ingredients and the oils used to cook do not do well with the flavours. A mixed oil I feel and peanut oil is so rich in making flavours come up to fullness. Just another run of the mill experience for me and I have been there up to 6 times for convenience sake. Ps Only cash for take awayss
