Small but ample range of good with good turnover because it is a busy place. Service is excellent and can park at quiet times just out the front and pick up fresh bread two doors down. Would rather go here than Coles or woolies because I do not have to tramp way down the back for the milk

I was deperate to get an appraisal of my cars brakes due to an urgent family medical emergency that saw me only able to leave my car for a very limited time and wait around till fixed. These guys accommodated me, made me feel confident of their understanding of the cars needs and did it in pronto time with comparable reasonable cost. I am most grateful and seeing the senior guy has had over 40 yrs servicing cars, I feel he is an excellent diagnostician

I give this rating with the proviso that you go when it is not busy. I have been taken their twice and found them quite pushed to get breakfast for two on the table in less than 45 minutes. However in saying this, the all day brekkie is a treat and fills the "POT" for the day with the sausages tomato bacon egg/s 2 sauces. I think for a bigger group the place is too small but outside can accommodate the prams and bits. I both like the position being away from the main drag of the shops but it is a corner position and I find this a bit intimidating with cars going so close to the tables although protected somewhat by garden plants. I think this place is appealing both food wise and because of the homey efforts of the family that run the place but when it is busy, be prepared to wait. $14 . for breakfast

Wandered into this market while waiting around for some friends. A lot of stall holders with second hand goods and there is not enough winter fruit and veg to sell I gather. It is well visited early in the piece but by 3 is a bit of a loss. I came back to drop off my friend at this later time. I was not so sure that all the fruit and veg was grown by persons selling them but neverthe less for asian greens, there was variety and some good value in what was seasonal eg; carrots
Not my favourite markets but seems you can find some rustic stuff amongst the food stalls for the home eg; glassware

Part of the Farm Gate Trail. We booked in as a group of 25. Group bookings are about the only way to get into this place other than an open day. Right now there are citrus in great supply, imperial variety and navals and then this places opens up to a gourmets delight of goods. Cheeses are in a bit of short supply but try some of the jams and you will die for them especially if they are made without the mass sugar input. I suppose the whole day or really the two hours spent here opened my eyes to a part of sydney that really has kept fresh as best and offers a delightful journey of learning from the people who know food from the ground up. I well recommend you forming a group and going on the Hawkesbury Farm Gate Trail because I could not put on 10 pages the goods available and the deight of smelling fruit and veg as it comes out of the ground or off the tree and the way is makes your mouth water with fresh fragrances. The cost is as it would be in your green grocer for fresh goods but you know how old they are. Pickles jams and many other gourmet foods are more expensive than the shop variety but who would not pay for the love that has gone into them?

Just wanted to give this place a plug for service. Found myself in trouble with a radiator and needed NRMA on the day we visited this lovely part of the world but the guy in the servo did the job. He had a quiet moment and all his energy went into fiing a pipe that was loose and then he offered me a cup of tea. I found the petrol price as good as those in the city so all round I was very fortunate and feel that country service prevails

Tucked away in this beautiful little spot. A big open room with a lot of " noise pollution" from floorboards and peoples boots. We shared a steak done medium rare and it came in well done and a salad without dressing we asked for. Lots of variety of foods but because it is a reclusive part of the world they know how to charge. It is not a place I would go back to but cannot say that things were as bad as what I am wording. I think the best thing is that it has drinks that are well done both alcoholic and non. eg; lemon lime and a good dose of bitters for $4

Approximate cost: $23

Of the very few SIZZLERS remaining this place is consistently good with service and hygeine and enjoyment of a meal. Parking is great and disabled persons are enabled in this restaurant. No I don't care for the sweet selection but ask for a steak with out the chips or a seafood selection and am satisfied for the price, mostly around the $22 mark. The atmosphere at quieter times is condusive to good communication and relaxation and unlike a lot of restaurants now, they do not push you out the door after an hour and a half

We lived in the GONG for 6 yrs. We went here numerous times. We have gone back over the last few years, one being last weekend and nothing has changed. It is a great surprise to get this quality from a food court business but THIS HAS NEVER DISAPPOINTED> I and my family do not like MSG in foods. We really appreciate fresh and we really like the meat to be without having been softened in Bi carb. Coconut chicken or a gentle curry is just nourishing light and yummy. The flavours are in tact from each morsel and I commend this little business for its consistency over the years. The price is right and to be honest, I would present this food rather than my own on a table for guests, just on beautiful plateware because that is how it deserves to be presented. GOOD GOOD GOOD

A classy lebanese pastry sweet shop. I was given a box of pastried and was taken by the delicassy of them. I am not into heavy pastry nor just french puff with fruits or anglises or jams. My Lebaese friends and mechanic say this place is far superior and I agree although I have not much history in this culture but this is a place that makes you salivate because of the variety you can put on a plate for your guests and for that treat yourself. I am into honey baclava not the sugar type and this place gives a nice mix. It has reputation because it well earns it from those who know. I really like going here every now and again
