Quite nice interior and mood, though it gets so busy and crowded. Food is nice, but portion size is tiny! Would love a bit more considering price which I find a little steep, but I suppose it's 'Brighton'. Anyway service could be a little improved too.

One of the best and cutest brekkie joints I've been too lately. Recommended highly by a close friend of mine and so glad we tried it whilst in the area. The hot cocoa is delicious and the also do high tea!

The first time I was here with my partner food and service was exceptional so I decided to bring a work colleague here but was so disappointed this time round. Service was quite frankly horrible, our waitress was just plain rude at times and I didn't find the quality of food to be great neither, although it's not expensive-expensive, it's still not cheap either since there's so many other cafe's to choose from in the same area, and priced the same as these guys too. Don't know if it was just an 'off' night but don't think I'll be planning to come back anyway to find out!

Nice place to eat, I usually come here for breakfast since the menu is quite good and food is always simple and hearty, like a good home cooked meal.

I thought they had closed down many years ago now but was so happy to hear they're still in business and thriving (or so I expect) just some good ole' fashion fun, we took my partners nephews who can be hard to impress at times and they loved it. Staff are wonderful and prices are great, entry fee is reasonable considering what you get out of the experience.

Really impressed with their selection of products - especially dog shampoo! I have such a hard time finding a particular brand sometimes but they had them here in excess. Also found staff to be very knowledgeable which was a bonus since most places don't really have a clue what they're talking about most times. The only downside for me was I was expecting them to be cheaper because of the location etc but I found them price wise to be the same as other pet places.

I've been here a few times and have always gotten the same meal every time for one reason only. It's utterly heavenly! I'm not a huge fan of risottos unless I make them myself but their spanner crab is really delicious and always cooked well. I really should and would like to try more from their menu but I just can not help myself!

If I lived closer I would probably live here! First time here after hearing positive things about it and so glad I tried it out. Food is delicious, cheap and presented beautifully. Loved the Velvet burger which was cooked to perfection. Lively and friendly staff and very welcoming. Will be finding any excuse to make my way back to this side of the city again!

I know this has been around for a while so I guess I went in with much higher expectations. Food was ok, presentation is nice but I didn't feel like my gnocchi was worth the price I paid for. I also found our waitress to be on the slow side and not very talkative neither.
