The best time to visit this bakery is first thing in the morning before the bulk of Westfield has opened. The delicious armor from the bakery wafts down the corridor and is only surpassed by eating any one of their delicious loaves of bread. Also their display of cakes is mouth watering. The price is very reasonable for this great quality bread and service very fast and polite.

I try to look at the site daily (you can also become a member and they will send you daily condensed emails of recent deals). Great for a bargain hunter for anything from electronics to food to .... Also I find the forums very insightful when looking for a product/service (in addition to WOMO). People ask questions and offer advice so it is not all about deals on items. For example there was one post int he forum where people were comparing electricity suppliers in NSW and one member actually generated a comparison table. Best of all it is Free.

You can't get better value than another person's real life experience with a business. I found this site a few months ago and find it invaluable when looking for new business/services that I have never used. Sure I have googled and yellow pages searched but you never really know if this business/service will be good or bite you in the butt. Thanks to WOMO I have found several new businesses in my area and have found the reviews reliable and accurate. The site's search engine can be a bit hit and miss but overall I love the site and appreciate your member's reviews.

I was talked into joining a contract with Origin Energy a few years ago in order to get some form of discount on my electricity. When my contract was due to expire they sent me a letter from the Customer Relations Manager telling me they can offer me a great deal, I just needed to contact them so I did. The CALL CENTER guy at the other end of the phone said that he could offer me a maximum of 3% discount (which was less than what I was on) and NO better.
Needless to say I moved suppliers.
Origin then RANG me after I changed suppliers and tried to offer me a better discount (7%) up to 10% with direct debit. I said no, then a few weeks later they sent me a letter telling me they can give me a great deal I just need to ring them. NO THANK YOU, too little too late.

The cheapest place I have been to buy Chemist products. They have a variety of brands at very good prices. The store is difficult to navigate so I usually just browse down each isle to make sure I get everything. They also have online specials that you can subscribe for with your email. Lots of parking.

I have been to Bupa at Parramatta twice now enquiring about health insurance. The first assistant I met talked me through the cover, but refused to give me a booklet saying it was hers - very strange. On the second time, a different assistant answered my questions and gave me a booklet with pricing options. Not the cheapest cover around but overall the service has been OK.

We visited this little family run business after reading the reviews on WOMO. It is a small shop where about half is fridges for meat/mince and bones, the other half is dry food. The dry food is available in 5kg, 10kg and 20kg packs and my dog loves it. We bought a Marrow Bone (4.50) cut lengthwise, 2kn small bomes (6.95) and 10kg semi-lean mince (26.50). That will keep us going for a while.
Parking was in front of the shop, they accept EFTPOS/Cards and the lady there was very helpful.

We visited Bunnings recently to buy a new power tool. Now overall Bunnings has enough variety to meet our hardware needs and a reasonable price (sometimes in lieu of quality) and we rarely ask for any advice - except for this time. With so many choices we finally found an assistant (quite an ironic title) who after we gained his attention proceeded to make a fake phone call, then talked to newer customers before us. In the end he didn't understand power tools and couldn't explain the differences between the products. I don't know why he was there. This was a Saturday morning so maybe it was bad weekend staff but it was enough that we won't be going there again.

Had a family Sunday lunch at Silvas and everybody left satisfied. Service was fast, the restaurant was quite busy and atmosphere warm. Table favorites were the Pipis and the Chicken Burger.
Negatives - parking was extremely difficult to find in the backstreets of Petersham/enmore. It was extremely frustrating for each of us that drove so overall the experience was pretty good.

A group of thirty of us got together and booked three long tables at Iyara. This was the first time I had been there and thought the atmosphere was fantastic. The whole restaurant was buzzing with people, the wait staff relaxed but efficient, the kitchen is open but with a high barrier so it wasn't intrusive on the diners. The table ordered different meals, we had the Satay Chicken for Entree, Pad Thai and Massamun Neua Beef for mains. Overall cost us $40 for 2 adults. The food was very nice and I would definitely go there again.
Negatives - parking was terrible. There is a small car park in front of the restaurant but that was full so most of us parked on the street many streets away. Put on those walking shoes unless you are very lucky.
