Great food, friendly service in a really nice setting especially love the outdoor Japanese Garden.
The good: fresh fish and delicious traditional Japanese dishes, family friendly place. Easy to get a booking on the night if it's a last minute impulse to go out for dinner.
The bad: while it's lovely outdoors in the garden, the indoor area has a rather constant unpleasant odor (probably from all the cooking in the kitchen). Also there is a small variety of sushi dishes.
Overall, definitely one of the better Japanese restaurants.

I reckon that this Japanese shop stands out from other sushi take away cafes in Melbourne. The fish is always fresh, it is clean and professional, and the owner (Joe) is always there making sure that his sushi is served fresh and delicious every time! The menu is great, and the sushi is really different from the ones you get at shopping center's food court!

This store is my favorite in Melbourne! Their selection of glasses is divine - gorgeous styles, colours and designs that look more like jewelery. The girls who work there spent two hours helping me choose (I felt no pressure at all), until we found something totally amazing from Anne et Valentin collection - a funky French pair! And they serve coffee with Baileys...Yum! I told all my friends and family!
