Good food at reasonable prices, particularily for Eagle st on the river. Good atmosphere and you can buy drinks at the bar which is handy if you're in a group.

A little dissapointing, the dishes vary in value. The mains are quite decent but a lot of the tapas could be improved, the calamari for instance I have tried twice and it has been cold and chewy in both occasions and overly oily. The sangria is standards (both white and red) but there is definitely better on offer in brisbane. The fried olives and sourdough with blue cheese, mint and anchovies are worth a try.

Service was also dissapointing, the last time I went there we were left standing waiting to be seated for 10 mins without anyone coming up to greet us.

Great value for money, the mount everest soup is spicy and filling and comes with dumplings for only $6.50, the tandoori (thought it is not called this) chicken with yoghurt is a great starter and the creamy prawn curry is fantastic! Its BYO (including soft drinks - they are pretty relaxed) and is cheap and easy. As another poster said, teh only let down is the service which cn be a little slow/ stand-offish at times but its still worth the trip!

This review is for Harajuku Gyoza, Fortitude Valley QLD

Very busy on a friday/saturday night and most lunch times but fantastic gyoza - the duck and chicken & lemongrass were stand outs. The desert gyoza is something different and worth a try as it the plum wine and sake. The staff provide a high level of energy, especially is anyone orders sake at which time they will start yelling out incomprehensible japanese which is fun the first time but loses its charm a little by the 25th.

Decent food and okay coffee, it's often burnt (both the coffee and the milk) and it depends on your pick of barista - I think the guy with the should length hair is the best.

They have a decent rewards system - every 6th hot drink free and pretty good cookies & muffins.

Lovely little french cafe where you can enjoy a nice coffee and baguette. Baguettes were great - crunchy, buttery and fresh. Coffee was good and the lemon meringue was decent. Service was short and simple - typically french!

A clever idea of letting you select you meat and vegetables and sauce before a cook sizzles it all away on a big round open cooktop for you but very poorly executed. The meat and vegetables are left open and barely refrigerated, the meat is of very poor quality and the food has very little flavour. I was extremely surprised I didn't get food poisioning to be honest.

Lovely little cafe in Graceville, great cakes, coffee and breakfasts. Service can be a little unorganised/ not the most helpful but it's worth going for the food.

The fruit toast with ricotta and maple syrup & the various eggs on toast (with mushrooms etc) are great and perfect for a saturday/sunday breaky or brunch!

This is the only Coffee Club I will eat at, so many bad experiences with the Coffee Club resturaunts elsewhere but the service and quality here is actually decent especially if/when they have 2 for 1 meals.

This review is for Max Brenner, South Brisbane QLD

While I'm a fan of Max Brenner, the resturaunt at South Bank is incredibly busy (as it's the only Max Brenner in Brisbane at the moment). You'd have to line up for half an hour on a friday/saturday night to get served and then find a table. I think this must be in part due to the service being a little unorganised and slow as the resturaunts on the Gold Coast seem to handle large volumes of people a bit better.

The food is great if you're a chocoloate fan, I definitely recommend the white chocolate chai if you get through the line.
