Decent Japanese food for a slightly above value price in my opinion. I still eat here but there is definitely better out there. The tempura vegetables is decent as is the udon and bento boxes but nothing outstanding in my opinion.

Piaf is a great little french resturaunt witha seasonal menu and good wines. It is quite small so it's wise to make a reservation, but if you arrive and there are no tables available you can go enjoy a wine and some pre-apetisers across the walkway at the Sardine Tin until a table becomes available they even let us take our unfinished drinks across the walkway to Piaf for dinner.

Although a little pricey, great cocktails, decent food and good atmosphere. Its a great place for after work drinks in a handy location.

This review is for Sushi Train, Indooroopilly QLD

Coming from the Gold Coast, I've always been a sushi train fan because the seafood is generally fresh and the service is quick and polite.

The grilled eggplant with miso is great! It was a chef special about 6 months ago and isn't on the menu but if you ask they'll make it for you.

The sushi train at indro is the same stock standard, doesn't dissapoint unless the line up is out the door (which unfortunately it often is lately) looks ike they are looking to set up another sushi train nearby given that they have been taking down post codes for the last year.

The best cheap fish and chips I can find around the western suburbs! Give this place a try, the fish (particularly the snapper) is relatively fresh, well cooked, the batter is wonderfully crispy and the chips have a good amount of crunch to them.

The hamburgers (even the plain ones for $5.50) are pretty decent. I'd steer clear of teh meal packs which include a sloppy salad not worththe money and the only down point to a decent fish & chip shop.

This review is for Edamame, St Lucia QLD

I love Edamame, yes the service can be a bit sporadic at times but the food is generally quite good.

For me the absolute stand out is their Chili Togarashii Ramen it's amazing. I often get it take away which means no waiting around. Its a fantastic dish which I usually have plain without toppings (though the crumbed pork is fantastic) and it only costs $13.80.

Though the staff have limited english, they are lovely and very sweet.

Approximate cost: $15

This review is for Genisis Hair, Corinda QLD

The last time I went to this hair dressers I was dissapointed. I felt the service was hurried and the hairdresser didnt have time to listen to exactly what I was after, I explained that I wanted to go lighter with my hair and we agreed on foils and an all over colour.

The final colour however was even darker than my original colour, and the foils were more like big chunks of tiger highlights that start far below the roots and do not blend in with the all-over colour.

The trim (which I also wasnt happy with) colour and foils cost $180, which would have been worth it if it was done well aand to the style I asked for.

Approximate cost: $180
