THis is a funny little supermarket - it has a great range of mediteranian products and a good deli. I"m not a fan of their meat - although I must say it has improved over the years. Their stock can be interesting - sometimes I go there for something quite basic and I can't find it yet at the same time, I know they carry some lines that I can't get in the big 2 supermarkets and I go to Sims to stock up. Parking is easy here - it's a pretty good local supermarket.
Awesome little place. Delicious tapas and Monday nights are fantastic value with their $8 tapas (I think this is also available on a tuesday but I'm not sure)
We finished off with Churros for dessert which was the best ones I'd ever tried.
Highly recommend this place!
Edit 22/4 - really happy to update this - I just went to Besito and had an excellent, flavoursome breakfast. It was everything I'd hoped for the first time!!
I really wanted to like this place - the decor is great and it's fantastic to see some alternatives to all the indian places in Barkly Street. The food we had was a little bland and needed a lot of salt. I haven't given up hope that this place can be great and I've had friends love it, so I will definately give them another shot and hope I can report back with an extra star or two!
A great place for a quick bowl of noodles - not your most authentic japanese but for the price, it's pretty good.
Approximate cost: $10.00
Love this Salon! I was referred her when my last hair dresser was closing her salon. I was nervous about starting with a new hairdresser, but I needn't have worried. I have my hair cut by Tina who is great - she listens to what you want and can translate that into a fab cut. Very reasonably priced too. Their new Salon is lovely and they have awesome massage chairs when you have your hair washed.
Approximate cost: $65
Love this site! It feels so much more legit that many of the other sites as the rewards system encourages people to review the good, the bad and the ugly! Will definately be consulting this site in the future and am enjoying watching my points accumulate.
Would love to see an App for this so I can do it when I'm out and about
Approximate cost: $0
I"ve been seeing Jeremy, an exercise physiologist, at Sisu for a couple of months. HE really knows his stuff and has created an exercise program for me that I can do which is pretty impressive considering my list of injuries. He is great at altering exercises if I struggle with them because of injuries.
I have seen many personal trainers, but Jeremy is the first one I feel truly knows what he is doing.
Would recommend to anyone, but especially to people who are recovering form injuries.
I have often purchased computers and other electrical items at Harvey Norman. When I went there recently the service really let me down. The sales staff didn't know their stock and told me things about the products I later found to be untrue about an item I was looking at. Their prices weren't great - they said they'd match other prices but they couldn't give me a compeditive price on their own.
Lovely little restaurant that has opened up in Seddon. It's great to finally have Japanese around and the couple that run this business are doing a great job. THe ever evolving and changing menu features fresh traditional cuisine. They are about to open for breakfasts too which I'm looking forward to.
I love this place - it has something for everyone from good quality fish and chips to fantastic bento boxes. I love their grilled fish on rice and their miso soup rocks!
