Convenient shopping, well placed in with a lot of other stores in the shopping centre, piles of toys, books OK not great, clothing as expected, reasonable home stuff, moderate prices, kids always happy!

Rob and Lois have always looked after us. They have a huge range of products and absolutely fantastic printing. The colour has to be some of the very best in Melbourne. They only use proper professional paper, Kodak Endura, right through all their printing. They have been in the industry for well over 20 years and have made extremely beautiful prints for us because of this experience. The prices are quite moderate - it is not worth going to very cheap places when your photographs can look gorgeous. They have a great range of albums and framing and good DIY services, or they can design things as well. We would absolutely recommend them!!!!

We often go here for special events (mostly because it is open 24 hrs and we work late) and have been pleased with the atmosphere and food.. not too expensive and reasonable food, really great cakes and very nice coffee.

Malvern primary school is one of the very best in the state. It is the sort of school you would pay to go to. the staff are of very high quality and it has an imaginative program and well resourced amenities. Discipline and motivation are high, and there are quite a wide range of sporting and hobby activities. We are very impressed.

Well laid our Borders.. a great resource in our area. Staff more friendly and helpful than in Prahran, and almost as many books. Great coffee shop adjacent... Plenty of movies!! I tend to duck into this one when I want to have some time out for myself, or send the family off to Sofias while I find some books. For anything specialist I tend to use other stores, but they have been helpful and tolerant of children, and the place is pleasant with a huge number of books

I regularly go to this Borders with our young kids, and I find the shop friendly and accommodating, with plenty of choice, from cheap fillers to amazing curios, with a large depth of middle range of kids books, adults, technical, magazines and toys. Parking is easier than in Prahran or Camberwell, and the hours are still good. We always come away with hundreds of dollars worth and happy kids.

love the range and the hours and that you can sit there for hours and read till as long as you like. Not as much depth in specialist subjects as you would hope for, and the some staff have a bad attitude, but Borders has become an essential part of my life, as books are my major vice! My young kids are welcomed and have enough to keep them happy. We have no trouble getting up to $100 for trade discount and often a lot more. I use Borders as a kind of reward for myself after a particularly long day, and my only wish is that would close at 11 or 12 rather than 10....

I think what you have to understand that this is a discount low margin store.. they expect customers to know what they want. The prices are only slightly higher than MSY and there is a lot greater range. The place is also open for very extended hours which has been a lifesaver for us on many occasions. Our business really needs their after hours service. We would prefer more flexible arrangements for payment from afar, but otherwise we havent had any warranty issues at all.

only place to go if they have what you want and you know what you want. Dont ask for help PLEASE (you might get shot by the other customers). Alternatively go during the day when the staff can be quite helpful.. they really do know their range as long as there is no queue.. they have extended hours and the prices are truly the cheapest in Melbourne. Essential resource for our business.. please support them!!!!
