This review is for Subway, Ingle Farm SA

We have had Subway from Ingle Farm a number of times now and each time we have been more than satisfied. I have tried a number a types and with the salad I usually have the lot. This makes for a very tasty, very satisfying, very healthy and very inexpensive meal.
The staff is usually friendly and the service good and usually pretty fast. Of course if they are busy the wait may be a little longer but this is the same with any business.

This review is for McDonald's, Para Hills SA

We have been to McDonald's at Para Hills a number of times and have found them most satisfactory. The burgers are filling and tasty and we love their chocolate super sundaes with a flake. The service is friendly and fast ....... that was until they altered the drive through. The ordering was ok but the wait to collect the order took four times longer than it did before. This was the only time we have been there since the renovations but when we go back and if the service has improved, I will then change my review.

This review is for Sun River Resort Motel, Buronga NSW

Being from South Australia we look forward to travelling around seeking new experiences. We stayed at the Sun River Resort for four nights and found it to be most comfortable. Although the room we had was a tad small and confined we were told that there a larger rooms available. The amenities and facilities are more than adequate for just a room without full cooking facilities but with the Edge Hotel just around the corner, a leisurely stroll away, we were well and truly catered for.

This review is for Edge Hotel Motel, Buronga NSW

We are from South Australia and our first experience with the Edge Hotel was whilst staying at a nearby caravan park through Travel Auction Holidays. Part of the deal was a meal at the Edge. The meal was very good and a reasonable price, the wines are from the local areas and the service was helpful and friendly. The next experience was a four night stay in the hotel, again with Travel Auctions. The rooms were more that adequate neat, clean and roomy. An added bonus was that the restaurant was a small distant from the rooms which meant that one could enjoy themselves without fear of drink driving. In summary good food, good wine good accommodation, friendly and helpful staff and pleasant surroundings, what more could you want.

This review is for Lakes Resort Hotel, West Lakes SA

We have been to the Lakes Resort Hotel a few times now - once for a gift, once for a overnight stay after a works do and once for celebratory over night stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with every thing you may need including things like a shower cap, a sewing kit, pen and paper with their own logo etc. The fridge has a range of beer and wines and softees with a munchie bar (all for a price though) . The meals in the dining room are expensive but the meals in the bistro are quite reasonable and more than adequate. Lets face it, if you are not afraid to spend a few extra dollars to stay in a high class room for a couple of nights away to be pampered and a bit spoilt then this is the place to do it. As their motto states "The only thing they overlook is the lake"

We went to the Walkers for an anniversary celebration on a Saturday for lunch. The bistro/dining room was crowded and looked a little expensive so we went to the bar/lounge area for a counter style meal. This was very enjoyable very comfortable and the price very reasonable. The wine list was adequate and the wines were reasonably priced. The decor was bright, cheerful and modern. The service was quite good and kids are not frowned upon. A pleasant and enjoyable experience.

This review is for Hungry Jacks, Ingle Farm SA

Hungry Jacks, Ingle Farm - usually quite reasonable, good food, good variety, good position and usually quite clean and tidy. But the last time we were there the place was a mess drink and walked in food on the floor in several places, uncleaned tables and crumbs on the seats. The place wasn't that busy then either but it seemed to me they may have been a bit understaffed at the time - but this shouldn't alter the fact being a public eatery.

This review is for Settlers Hotel, Ingle Farm SA

The settlers Hotel even though is is my closest 'water hole' I would not hurry back there. We went there for lunch one Saturday only to find that they don't serve meals in the dining room on a Saturday afternoons but we could have a counter meal. - Great. We have dined there a couple of times for an evening meal and the food was just so so and also a bit expensive. We haven't been to the Settlers for a meal for a while now and until they lift their game and improve somewhat and cater for pensioners we won't be going back any time soon.

The Good Reasonable array of food.
The Bad Bit pricey for what you get

This review is for Dick Smith Electronics, Ingle Farm SA

I have been into Dick Smith Electronics, Ingle Farm a number of times now. At one time I was looking for DVD recordable discs larger than the usual 4.7GB. I had tried numerous other stores including department stores to no avail. On asking the friendly and helpful staff was able to source a pack - no worries. I also managed to purchase a pack of two 2GB SD cards cheaper than I have seen else where. Finally we purchased a combination DVD/Video player which was on special. All the items purchased were recognised brand like TDK disks and Samsung player all bought at very reasonable prices. I will definitely be shopping there again in the future.

This review is for TPG Internet, North Ryde NSW

verified email - 19 Dec 2010

After my initial dealings with TPG Internet trying to get connected and trying to understand the ethnic operators and their technical computer jargon - all in all it took about 15 'phone calls and 6 weeks to finally iron out and ascertain the problem I was finally connected. Since then I can't fault them. The prices will kill probably all their opposition and their service has been exceptional. I wanted to upgrade my connection 4GB per month to 12GB per month for the same price. I managed to do it all on line and it took only twenty minutes to finalise, where as my wife wanted to do a similar deal with Telstra and it took all of 3 to 4 days to finalise and then she had a problem. After the initial trauma, which I have almost forgotten about, I would fully recommend TPG to any one wanting to upgrade from dial-up to ADSL-2+ broadband or just to seek a better provider.
