This review is for Dan Murphy's, Smithfield SA

What a place. we've never seen so much booze in one place at the same time. Joking aside every time we have been to Dan Murphy's Munno Para we have found exactly what we wanted. They obviously don't stock all wines from all wineries but if you can't find Annies Lane or Kay Brothers Moscato then Banrock Station or Brown Brothers certainly will not disappoint. If you can'd find the brand or the type you want, consult their friendly and helpful staff and they will offer you a satisfactory alternative. You can also pick up bargains from their 'end of bin' or other specials and discounted wines. Plenty of beers and spirits as well. Buy more than one and you can save even more.

This review is for Michel's Patisserie, Ingle Farm SA

We ordered a 21st Birthday cake from Michel's Patisserie and the lady was really helpful and obliging and had the order available for pick-up at the time we agreed. We also tried their hot chocolate and several items from the goodie shelf. The chocolate was HOT for a change, unlike some other businesses we have tried, and the cakes were yummy. Only one drawback, they are just a tad pricey for specailised cake orders.

This review is for Foodland, Valley View SA

A week hardly goes by without Valley View supermarket advertising a range of money saving specials. The range of goods is large and diverse and at normal times the prices are still reasonable. You can really save dollars by picking out the many and varied weekly specials as they become available.

This review is for Ingle Farm Dental, Ingle Farm SA

Going to a dentist is a pain at the best of times but if you really have to go then Ingle Farm Dental Surgery will get my vote. The receptionists are friendly and ring up the day before to make sure you are keeping your appointment. The wait is not too bad. I have a lady dentist and a lady hygienist and both are pleasant, thorough and gentle. My only gripe, other than them being dentists, is that they have no concessions for pensioners, which is another pain.

This review is for Central Grocers, Salisbury Plain SA

Central Grocers or Mitani's as it was previously called is a great place to buy in bulk for all and every occasion. Great for catering supplies for the larger party with cups, plates, napkins utensils and other paraphernalia. Great for frozen packs of finger food and other frozen goodies at very reasonable prices. Bulk buy in mayonnaise, seafood sauce and other condiments. Friendly and helpful staff. Good range, good prices. Buy in bulk and save. Recommended.

This review is for Fiasco's Steakhouse The Morrison Hotel, Woolloongabba QLD

verified email - 19 Dec 2010

We are from South Australia and have been holidaying in Queensland for the past eight years staying at Kangaroo Point Holiday Apartments. Morrison's Hotel is leisurely stroll from the apartments. Since we found the Morrison's we have been more than impressed with the atmosphere of the Hotel. We have not tried the steak as yet but the meals we have had are very reasonable in quality, quantity and value. We bought the family up here last September - 6 adults and 4 kids and had our meal outside on the verandah. One of the waitresses took a picture of the lot of us in the pub. Very friendly and obliging staff great ambiance and great location. The little riddle or conundrum written above the doorway to the steak house can keep the brain ticking over during lunch. A great place to eat and relax.

This review is for Millers Fashion Club, Ingle Farm SA

verified email - 17 Dec 2010

My wife being a person requiring a larger size and being an older customer finds shopping at Millers enables her to purchase her size in a style that suits her. A good range of product at reasonable prices with some really good bargains at times. Service great, staff reasonable.

This review is for Jeanette's Corner, St Agnes SA

A great rage of arts & crafts including beads and scrap-booking items. A couple of times we have been looking for a specific type or colour of bead, eg Crows colours and have sourced them with no trouble. Friendly staff with enlightening ideas and hints. We usually walk out with more than we intended.

This review is for Harvey Norman, Gepps Cross SA

verified email - 17 Dec 2010

After being 'snubbed' by Air conditioner Warehouse and a couple of bad experiences from Radio Rentals we would not shop any where else than Harvey Normans, Gepps Cross for electrical goods. Huge range, good diversity of products, reasonable prices and friendly service. We have recently purchased an air conditioner, television and computer desk plus a few other bits and pieces and each tine the staff has been very helpful, friendly and obliging.

Approximate cost: $2000+

This review is for Airconditioner Warehouse, Salisbury SA

We walked into the warehouse and started to have a look around, but it was not until we approached the counter did any one seem interested in talking to us. On supplying the basic details
regarding the air conditioner we were looking for he pointed to a position near the top of a rack and told us the price was about $800. He did not seem very motivated or really interested so we thanked him, told him we would look further and left.
