Had a steak sandwich and chips here my daughter had a pasta, husband the beer battered fish and chips with salad/ Steak sandwich was o.k at 15.90 fish and chips were excellent 19.00 and the pasta (penne pollo) 18.00 was also lovely. I tried a bit of each and will definitely have the fish and chips next time. The setting is outdoors on a large verandah with water views and it was a bright sunny Sunday afternoon. This is a gorgeous place to sit and enjoy the water views while you eat. A lovely way to finish the weekend and the service was excellent, coffee o.k and the food well priced and tasty - chips excellent. It's worth it for the views alone. Nice change from Norton Street where all you see is traffic. If you live in the inner west, check this hidden treasure out.

Really the best value meal I had on the Gold Coast and delicious too. Had a curry and came back another day for the udon. Both tasty, full of flavour and less than 7.00. Never had Japanese this cheap and still delicious. My husband and daughter both had the teriyaki chicken and raved about it. Iced tea is also only $1.50 with a meal. Great place to eat. Family of 3 fed under $20.00. If you are on holiday to the Gold Coast go there. Nothing more to say - just check it out.

Although this salon specialises in nails, they also do waxing so I had my eyebrows done. The woman who ushered me in was lovely. It was cheap but I had to have them redone after so there was no bargain. $10 wasted (and I have spent the same amount elsewhere and been really pleased with the result). Brows looked like two caterpillars above the eyes - one a little higher than the other. No shape or definition. Salon was over crowded with people waiting for their manicure pedicure deal, some had waited so long one left - stepping out of her foot tub and drying her own feet off to leave. It was a busy day and I can't say what the pedicures would be like but don't get your brows done here. Go somewhere else that doesn't want to churn you out of there in two minutes.

Good food hall option when you are at the centre and hungry. They have an ongoing price war with the noodle bar next door so prices are really low. The food here is spicey and tasty - currries are a good option and so is the fish. As always, where a bain marie is involved, the food could be a little hotter.

They do fantastic lunch and breakfast it is a cafe that is really light and airy inside with a "hole in the wall" at the side so you can get takeaway coffee or lunch or a lovely bacon and egg roll. They do home made baked beans and avocado and lemon on toast with some bacon for a few dollars extra - yum meatballs for lunch are also fantastic, seasoned to perfection in a gorgeous rich tomato sauce. A favourite spot for my work lunch or breakfast on the way in. Prices vary depending on what your order. Homemade baked beams are $8.50, meatballs to take away are 9.00. Lovely variety of food with daily specials. Service is always good too

Love this place, amazing unique pieces at really reasonable prices. Love the current range of 50s influenced dresses and crushed velvet. Really helpful staff. Also love the Winter coats. They also offer layby. What I love is the pieces are unique designer originals at a really reasonable price.

Checked this out with the family. Good kids deal at 9.95 for small cheeseburger and chips, milkshake and a small iceblock. Burgers were average at best - bun was not toasted and a little lacking in freshness, a bit rich at 12.50. I went with a voucher which was a free main course of equal value with one purchased. I was immediately irritated and annoyed when rather than giving me the 12.50 main for free, they substituted the kids burger instead. Difference was only 2.55 but it was not in the spirit of the voucher and struck me as penny pinching at its worst. Consequently wont go back esp as there are other much better gourmet burger places around. Shame as they do use a lot of organic and fair trade produce.

I popped in here to try out the Ramen as it seemed pretty busy so I thought the food must be good. I had a ramen and it was just o.k. I asked for the spicy beef and it was a mince with the noodles and a chilly gel over the broth. I don't really like gelatinous type food but when I mixed it through, the soup was o.k but nothing to write home about and not very spicey. I will try the place right next door next time and see what it is like. I wouldn't rush back here as there are too many other options in the CBD, this one needs to work a bit harder to match up.

Had some exquisite gelato here, frozen raspberry ripples in vanilla just delicately flavoured with rose - added a whole new dimension to the gelato. Just at the right gelato melting temperature and I was in heaven. The chocolate is also sublime.

Beautiful setting for lunch, with water views. Traditional red and white check tablecloth. I had the lunch special for $14 Chicken parmigiana and it was pretty good, a friend had the pizza at 22.00 and said it was good too (looked great). Also on the lunch special menu was vegetarian lasagne and that looked good too. I have had better Italian food but this is certainly not bad and worth it for the views and atmosphere.
