This review is for Ragu Pasta And Wine Bar, Sydney NSW

Had a pasta here for $14.00 which is reasonably priced, the spaghetti was al dente and the sauce tasty but the meat in the ragu (the signature dish) was disappointing, just tasteless. It was like it had been boiled for several hours in unsalted water to soften it then the sauce was just poured on top of it rather than having the meat stew with the garlic and tomato to get the lovely flavours through it. In the end I left most of the meat. I would give this another try though - as the sauce and pasta was good but would stick to a napoli or some other dish. The service at the counter was excellent too, friendly and efficient so worth another go before I write it off and hence the 3 star overall rating.

discovered this site over Christmas when I was looking for a specific perfume I knew my sister wanted. Found it here on special at 15% off, postage was reasonable and the perfume arrived in about 3 days in plenty of time for Christmas. Great experience and this perfume is pretty hard to track down. All of their other products seem reasonably priced. I signed up for the newsletter and they don't bombrd me with too many emails - just information on special offers from time to time.

Checked out the lunch special here a few times. $8.00 for any meat dish with noodles or rice, 11.00 for seafood. The green curry chicken was excellent, the pad see eow a little average. It is kind of a luck of the draw thing here, very hit and miss, so if you try a dish and like it - stick with it rather than moving around too much with your choices. Curries seem like a good option and let's face it a good Thai curry for $8.00 is a pretty good deal.

Fabulous stir fry chilli basil noodles and also a brilliant Thai style pho (it is called pho but is really a clear chicken broth with rice noodles, different as it has more of a Thai flavour in terms of spices but still lovely). Well worth a try as everything is fresh and the service friendly and food delicious. Like all the eateries at Westfield this is a little pricier than usual but worth the bit extra. Good luck finding a table during 1 - 2 as the food hall becomes incredibly busy.

This review is for Skewered, Leichhardt NSW

Unsurprisingly this is a new restaurant that specialises in skewered meats, fruits seafoods and vegetables. We had the thai chilli chicken and honey soy and at $5.00 for two skewers it is great value. Food was tasty tender and piping hot. Really deliciously barbequed with that goorgeous charcoal flavour. You can also get a range of dipping sauces and side salads at really reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back. They open for lunch and dinner plus there is home delivery. We ate in and the service was really great - everyone was friendly, courteous and happy to be there. Great!!!!!! and too rare.

Ordered a fantastic replica coffee table from here and it is beautiful, the quality is excellent. The delivery fee from Melbourne was amazing, 42.00 and it was a really heavy item. The table has 45kg glass top. I could not find the same item anywhere else at such a good price. Also if you sign up for newsletters you get a %5 discount on your first purchase, even if it is already on sale. They don't bombard you with mail either, just notices of sales etc.

Beautiful new sandstone cottage cafe in the grounds of Victoria park. Inside has gorgeous polished wooden floorboards and air conditioning or you can sit in the park and look at the beautiful duckpond and garden. Coffee is great and they serve organic drinks and food has a bush tucker emphasis. Service is excellent and it is such a gorgeous place to have a coffee or breakfast. I came across this place by accident and it is really lovely. A little pricier than a lot of places in Newtown but its worth it. Also provides training opportunities for local Aboriginal people. Big breakfast is around 17.00 and a coffee is $3.80

They do a great lunch special here for 12.00 - sushi teryaki salmon salad and miso or you can have a similar mix with chicken or tempura. Teryaki salmon was fabulous - done to perfection and the sushi was fabulous - tuna, salmon, prawn and a white fish (not sure which variety). They also have sake and Japanese lemonade. Lovely decor, luxe wallpaper and dark wood tables and chairs. This is the 3rd Japanese restaurant in this part of Leichhardt and in terms of quality and value I think it is the best. You can also eat out the back in the courtyard or there is a courtyard in the front.

Took my daughter in to see Daniel Tracton and he was fantastic, super thorough, efficient and professional. A referral to an eye specialist was required and he was fantastic explaining exactly what the diagnosis was and the range of potential outcomes. I had to ring a number of times following and hew was fantastic everytime and he and his team went out of their way to help and were friendly at all times. I could not help but think how much easier it is to deal with him than any other medical professional I have had to deal with. Just a fantastic change. Consultation was bulk billed to medicare and there were no additional charges for emailing and faxing the referrals. Exceptional

Fabulous online bookseller with a fabulous range, all at discount prices. I bought the Underwater Dogs book as a Christmas present and it was $12.00 cheaper than in the shops even with postage and it was sold out just about everywhere else. It arrived in time for Christmas in immaculate undamaged condition. I generally order my books from another site linked to a big well known U.S company and they take months to arrive and are often cancelled last minute due to lack of availability so from now on it is Booktopia for me.
