Went here on one of those voucher deals and had a great facial and was generally happy except they really put the hard sell on said the deal wouldn't really suit my skin type and I needed something else etc. I hate that don't want the big onsell, I can make up my own mind about that so although the facial was O.K I didn't bother to go back again even though I had some more mini facials on the voucher. I don't like being pressured to buy additional services. If they had not been so pushy I would have returned a number of times for other services. I don't do vouchers from those group sites anymore, never worth it.

The best place for a coffee near Haymarket. Always fabulous and a different single origin to choose from every week or so. They make fantastic sandwiches with truffle oil - a little pricey but so good, the truffle oil melts into the bread and cheese and is just lush so comforting on a rainy day. Staff are always friendly and there is always a daily paper to read while you wait.

I see a lot of people lining up to buy food here. I have tried it a few times and found it to be fairly ordinary. Greasy spring rolls, average sushi and unlike all the other sushi places around Wynyard they don't seem to offer half price afternoon specials to clear out the left over sushi at the end of the day so I don't know if they re sell it the next day or throw it out. Both options are less attractive than selling it at a discount to ensure it is cleared by close of business.

Really fabulous crispy skin chicken and tomato rice the spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo Hue) is also great. Very reasonably priced, the surrounds are nondescript and a little tired but who cares when the food is good? Service is a little lacklustr meals come quickly but drinks can be slow - buy a lottery ticket if they remember to bring your table water.

Great hole in the wall sushi bar with all the usual faves, nori rolls, prawn and salmon sushi. Fresh and tasty and best of all you can pick sushi up at half price on the way home from work (any that is not sold during the day) so not only do you get a bargain 3.00 for six salmon sushi rolls, you know they don't keep it overnight so you can be pretty sure it is genuinely fresh each day!

I love buying kids sheets and pyjamas from this website. They are always high quality with gorgeous patterns and the sheets are crunchy crisp cotton. They really liven up a kids room and the little nighties and pyjamas are so sweet and in adorable patterns.

I used to come here often for breakfast or lunch and my coffee but the prices keep going up to the extent it is no longer on my regular list. They seem to be aiming of a New York kind of vibe with NY Reuben sandwiches and burgers but it kind of doesn't really work. Also the person who runs it seems to be a bit arrogant and stand offish at times - perhaps part of the NY attitude they are looking for.. The thing that is good here is the yoghurt - great portions with lovely luscious berries, that is still good and at around 4.50 is reasonable but the attitude puts me off so I don't even get that now. I don't like my yoghurt served up with a dash of surliness - rather go elsewhere.

Great for kids birthday parties. The staff are really attentive and help the kids for the whole time. It is $28 for pizza, chips and lolly bag plus a lesson and ongoing attention for the 2 hours the kids are there. The pizza was fantastic and although some of the kids were really scared (even a few tears initially when they fell on the ice, as they do) by the end they were all having the times of their lives and skating like champions (not quite but they were trucking around). Fantastic kids party option and the pizza was pretty good too!

Fantastic bistro restaurant here. It is decorated in a retro shabby chic style with laminated tables and also a deep green leather lounge and chairs. It is out the back away from the main bars so it is great for kids. They have really fantastic kids meals for $6.50 and even though they are for kids they don't skimp on size which is great because my kids aren't small eaters. They have nightly specials - Wednesday is steak night $10 for steak chips and salad or veges. Fabulous pepper sauce and delicious charcoal barbeque flavour to the steak. Highly recommend and the bars are lovely too - polished wooden floorboards and freshly renovated. Very nice.

Love the spicey silken tofu soup with seafood. The soup base is full of flavour, not just chilli taste but a rich underlying flavour from the stock. The silken tofu is really creamy and delicious, thickens the soup and takes on the beautiful flavour of the chilli and stock. It is served with rice and a side of kim chi. There is usually a little bit too much of the tofu so I just eat what I like and leave the rest. Shop is on the Wynyard ramp, the side headed towards Circular Quay. You can eat in or take away. They also have a range of ready made food you can select but I always choose one of the soups so it is made fresh.
