We were there with a group of family friends for Sunday lunch. It took one hour for my three year old's bowl of chips to arrive. It was the last thing to arrive even though other meals at our table, that had already arrived, contained chips. When questioned about this, the owner became defensive and rude. Under those circumstances, it was a major effort to prevent a tired and upset child from having a fullscale tantrum. We were very disappointed by that level of customer service and won't be going there again.

This is our third year at this centre and we are still happy with it (and hoping our younger daughter will start there next year). My husband and MIL were both very sceptical of formal childcare initially, but they were quickly won over by how caring and knowledgeable the staff are. All of the staff do really seem to like the kids and care about their happiness. They all know the children's names (even the ones not in their room). They are easy to talk to and respectful of your concerns. And the food there is great! (Big gold stars to the Centre Cook who poaches her own chicken to make the sandwiches for lunch - I was very impressed by her dedication!)

I have been going for treatments for about 3 years now and it has definitely given me a lot of relief for my chronic back problems. The team at this clinic are friendly and very accomodating - they were always helpful with booking changes and would even squeeze in an extra timeslot to help out. The way the clinic has grown is definitely evidence of its popularity.

I come here when I want a decent selection of meat but cannot be bothered to head into the Victoria Market.

The prices are very reasonable, even comparable to the Vic Market on some items.

The quality of the lamb and veal is particularly good, as are their Italian-style pork sausages.

Lombardi's is primarily an Italian butcher, which means they have lots of traditional cuts - eg girello, gravy beef, lots of veal cuts, good sausages - perfect for slow cooking. However they have a more limited range of pork, and of the more expensive cuts (eg good aged steaks).
They do not sell chicken, but there is a chicken stall in the same mall.

This shop was first recommended to me by my mother-in-law - she has been shopping here since her own kids were little!

As the previous reviewer suggested, this is old fashioned customer service at its best. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and is happy to organise special orders, even of items not normally stocked there (eg the "grown-up" bags from the Penny Scallan range).

The range is extensive and includes many items produced by educational suppliers (eg as can be found at specialist stores such as Windmill). I practically want everything in that shop!

The only downside is that this store is not cheap; there are basically no sales. So if you want something standard or mass-market then you are better off scouring Target or ToysRus; but otherwise it is great to know such an excellent shop.

As a fan of Bar Fred, I had a hard time deciding whether to keep this secret or share it with everyone...
Bar Fred is, first and foremost, a temple to fine beer. The beer list is amazing with particular focus on Belgian beers; but it includes local and other imported craft beers too. There is also a small but decent wine list.
Nonetheless Bar Fred has maintained its heritage of good pizzas too (it used to be a pizzeria). And particularly, very vegetarian-friendly. For the meat-lovers out there, Bar Fred has reintroduced meat options in their pizzas. The smoked salmon one is particularly tasty!
Great beer and excellent pizza - what's not to like?

Approximate cost: $10

I had some business cards made and they looked good. The website was easy to use and had lots of really good templates to help get you started.
I paid for the express post option and my order arrived promptly as promised. However postage was pretty expensive.
Some of the discounts seemed to be in the "too good to be true" category, and coupled with some online warnings about possible scams perpetrated by this company, made me, initially, a bit cautious about using this company. I decided to go ahead after reading the reviews on WOMOW. So far no dodginess and I will be happy to use them again. Though seeing that they are a foreign company, I don't know what their customer service would be like
